Description
Every generation a band of marauders plagues the quiet farming community of Calla Bryn Sturgis to steal their children and ruin their lives. They take only one out of every pair of twins, which curiously the folken of the Calla have plenty of, and return them to their families weeks later changed into drooling half wits that grow into giant idiots, enduring a life of suffering and torment as their bodies grow beyond thier natural limits. For centuries the Calla Folken endure this terror, knowing well that to stand against the Wolves means certain and violent death by laser sword or sneetch, tiny flying grenades that can either tear flesh or detonate bodies.
Then one day, Roland of Gilead and his band of Gunslingers happen upon this poor town...
Wolves of the Calla is drawn with prismacolor pencils, with some acrylic highlights. Featured in Stephen King's fifth volume of The Dark Tower.

I was pretty surprised when i learned that wolves armored with light sabers!!! Also, they looks like Dr. Doom. Maybe some people from Midworld was in Marvel's New-York and Doom armed them? Or they were in a Galaxy, far-far away? Finally, they could be a former jedi-knights, whose mind was captured by Randall Flagg and given to serve for Crimson King?
So, very nice job! You inspired me to make crossover of Dark Tower's world and world of Star Wars!

Wow, this is truly phenominal work. This reminds me of how The Wolves are describe (at the beggining of the showdown at the Calla)ass "What must have been terrifying to a bunch of farmers." I've always imagined the Wolves as scary, yet baddas and effiicient, as well as goofy in a way. This is an amazing piece of art. Long days an pleasant nights my friend.

Cool-looking wolf, the coloring on him is is great, espesically how the lightsaber illuminates his snout. I also dig the fact that you can see Thunderclap on the horizon.

I just got done reading WoC for the first time--and the language has worn off into my writings--a couple of weeks ago and I absolutely enjoyed it. When I read about the Sneetches, I thought they sounded familier then when King refrenced them to Harry Potter, I immediately thought "Well damn. Now I'm not going to be able to read about or watch Quidditch quite the same way again."
