This is a portait of my right hand (since I'm a lefty) and the underlying bone structure beneath. It was drawn on paper with a graphite pencil.Related content

im in awe right now because i am currently trying to learn everything i can about the anatomy of a hand [final is tomorrow and i kinda..slacked off..kinda alot]. if you have ever heard of the anatomy illustrator vincent perez, hes my teacher

Thank you very much for the comment. When I drew that hand I used tons of medical pics I found in books and online. I wish I could have gotten that info to you sooner though.
I'm not familiar with Vincent Perez's work. What type of art is he known for?

it really helped me study and understand the hand better for my anatomy test honestly. thanks for that drawing. if you look at my 'escape artist' painting, a few layers under the top layer of paint is a skeleton similar to your drawing. heres my teachers info--

the page that shows up are the brown paper drawings he does during class. hope you like them. he gives them away all the time so i have a few in my room of head studies and a back study. i love anatomy but i kinda suck at it.

Thank you. It was a different type of assignment for me as well. The final for this semester is to draw a replica of a Masters work like that. So I would have to take something Michael Angelo (or some other great master) has drawn and draw the underline bone structure. Should be interesting.
