How did you get through the front door with those wings?

Hi! You said you made the helmet with foam and metal. How did you do it? It looks very good and well made. Could you see while using it, or did you have to remove it (like a visor)?
How did you attach the wings to your back? Were they too heavy? (I'm assuming they were)
I'm asking this because I'm thinking about making an Angewomon cosplay, and so far I've found close to nothing about how to make it.

Thanks so much for the interest ,and sorry for taken me ages to answer you..but I've been too too too busy with my exams T_____T
My english is not very good U>_<, but I'll try my best to explain you the costume process:
First, I cut the foam in the form of the helmet ( Making a "half-sphere" form wasnβt as easy as I thought..but finally it turned up quite well!), I glued it and painted it with metalic grey color. Then, I used a hairband to make that the "helmet"(the foam piece) keeps its form, so attaching the hairband and the foam I got the helmet already done.
Then I made the helmet's cross and circular details with pieces of thing sheets of metal that I got, and glued them too to the helmet.
I can see till people's breast with it, but anyway the helmet can be taken off perfectly.
The wings aren't as heavy as they really look (they weight like a medium rucksack) .I used large pvc sticks with plastic web (that green or white web that itβs used in gardening...I think its called "chicken wire") to give an aproximmate form to the wings.I covered them with withe fabric, and then I glued all the feathers.
The 8 wings are individual separeted, and they all join by screws in a wood rectangular base that I made (Its like a wood-rectangular rucksack).
I don't recomend you this system to carry heavy wings,its much better making a solid thick arnes.But I hadn't had time to improve this wings system T.T.
Although the way that the wings are made is really nice. This wings tutorial gave me the idea of the pvc sticks and the web:

Por supuesto!!este aΓ±o tambien nos presentaremos al WCS, aunq los cosplays no seran tan impresionantes como los de Digimon. Este aΓ±o nos queremos centrar en la actuacion, que espero que quede bastante impactante ^o^ .

The suit and the glove are made with white lycra, ''the purple fabric rainbow thing'' has wire inside of it to stand in the air (it also has purple feathers sticked in the end of the tails), the helmet with foam and metal,etc...
The most difficult thing to make were the wings, they are made with pvc tubes , some wire, wood, white fabric to wrap everything and of course, lots of feathers.
