Description From left to right:
Silver fox
North American red fox
Coyote
Kit/swift Fox
North American raccoon

The average length of each tail is approximately 16 inches.
All the tails pictured here where from animals who were shot as pests. Which I do not condone (neither me, or my family shot them). But, there is no reason their beauty can not be admired and well respected after death. The only exception is the red fox who was a casualty of the fur industry. Most furriers throw away tails, but my one friend in NY state knows some one who buys them whole sale and tans them. Think of it as recycling.

These tails are not for show or for play, I use them in traditional healing ceremonies and they are well taken care of and their spirits honored.

Thank you for looking.
