Man, its been a good while since the last time I posted something here. Or since I drew something in first place. Ehm.However, here's a cyborg dragon. What's better to cheer your day up than a cyborg dragon?

By the way, technically this weirdo is already a character of a RPG. But, you know, one of those textual role play rpgs on forums.
He's probably the weakest dragon ever, since he's basically a corpse that is barely able to move thanks to his prosthesis.

I wish i could jump in and start making games but coding is my weakness, although i worked a bit on music soundtracks for game stuff, I want to do more so I actually can try making a character "live"

I know nothing about this subject, but coding seems to me something very difficult. I mean, is all about numbers and stuff, and I'm done with that shit.
I always wanted to work in the gaming field, but coding is one of the main things that stopped me.
I know right? Weakness is the new badassness.

Lol yea I understand the coding can just be very difficult to even look at, I tried coding with little knowledge, and I do say, you got to be precise and not screw up a single code, other side bugs, but yea it's crucial to my brain. I'll get to coding some other day, I've been doing music stuff, drawing. Other ways to get my head moving the least

Well life is alright, but I am still stressed, just thinking what to do in my life really, used to have so many plans, just motivation broke apart. And people tell me to try other things I don't want to go for in careers. I know money is such a big thing, but I really hate everyone's opinion lol it always makes me feel uncomfortable.

Some people just fail to understand that money aren't the only things that matters in life. I mean, one thing is to make money to live, another is to live to make money.

Family puts me to be obligated to trying to make money, because we are poor and in alot of debt, glad to be born poor lol I'm jk, so I like art and music, but everything I kinda do for hobbies, my father pressures me to go try harder for money, and rather tells me bad feedback about my stuff, like "oh you should do realistic art, or nice art". And I keep thinking very hard about that because I'm just like, wtf? If my work does not impress you, doesn't mean I'm going to neglect all my passion shit for " beautiful art". That's not my forte sheesh lol I like imagination and story illustration. And hearing him say people and artists smoke drugs for ideas, piss me off. Because it's not "realistic". My friend, everyone can love whatever the fuck they want, some people are tired of reality drama shit, I prefer to at least entertain people or myself. That's all I'm asking for, but no, everything has to involve money. It's ridiculous sometimes.
And yea, people tell me do other things. Bank account, taxes guy, other pointless career choices that doesn't intrigue me lol I'm just simple and I want to live my life sheesh..

Money is (sadly) important, and I think it's ok to do our best to earn a decent amount of them, as long we don't become slaves to them. I can understand that your father is worried about your future, money and shit, but criticizing your works in that way is useless.
Come on, the time of realistic art is over since when... in 1700? Wait, I think is absolutely crucial to know how to draw realistically, but it doesn't have to be your final goal. Yeah, ok, study anatomy and shit, but you will never find a job as "guy who draws realistic figures".
Damn, the stereotype of the artist who smoke drugs all the day is still a thing? Really? Your father probably doesn't understand that art isn't just for money. If all you want is to do a lot of money, well, then you don't fucking do art.
I think that an artist hardly can be driven by greed when he create his art, also because hardly one can earn a lot of money with it. If it was for me money wouldn't even exist, haha.
I think you are right about story illustration. Today this field of art is very popular, and people really like to read stories. Look at the success of manga, anime, comics, and all this kind of stuff. People love to dive into well crafted stories, maybe searching for a way to escape from this reality, and many artists already understood this.
