Description
For my younger brother's birthday card I decided to paint one of his favourite characters, Naked Snake(who later becomes Big Boss). For this project I used a combination of water colours, acrylic paints, along with various grey markers. My overall goal for this project was to mimic, Yoji Shinkawa's art style. Yoji Shinkawa was the original concept artist of the Metal Gear Solid franchise. I admire his art style because of how he uses intense shading and lighting to create a dramatic fluidity in the characters. However despite my research I was unalbe to achive the same affect.
