This is just painful to look at. I mean you rendered Lupita Nyongo beautifully but it looks like a glass storm is ripping her skin off, cutting her body and face as she stares inhumanly tolerant to the pain. Its just brutal. Why would anyone paint this? I've never seen a white woman painted like this. They're always painted delicately and presented with the utmost of reverence, but she gets presented as having her skin peeled off by glass? I think it's unfair. She's such a beautiful woman and she truly deserved better. I hope the real Lupita never sees this. She'll probably cringe like I'm cringing. And I'm cringing a LOT. My greatest fear is now that someday I'll get famous and someone will use my likeness to paint me getting peeled apart in a glass tornado

First of all I'm black and probably a lot older than you are. So I know a thing or two about racism. Now with that out of the way... you're an IDIOT. It's called ARTISTIC STYLE, an artist can draw in any style they wish. This obviously isn't about race or ANY of the bullshit you're writing about. Take your crying violin wanna be "woke" behind elsewhere. This is the most stupid shit I have ever read. I can't believe it's even allowed on here. Their other art is of a similar fashion.

This is a texture study, and there are plenty of white women similarly painted. You are reading something political into something that is just art, not a racist statement, and the fact that you've read it as such says much more about you than it does about the artist.
