Gotta talk about how well Amphibia did something right which Spongebob Squarepants failed at. The episode Domino Effect has some similarities to A Pal for Gary, where in Anne brings home a CATerpillar since it reminds her of her old cat. Unlike in Spongebob where Spongebob is oblivious to the puffy thing trying to eat Gary, Anne at least notices Domino II's habit of wanting to eat the Planters, and most of all isn't dumb to think that her monstrous pet is a danger to her and Planters.Amphibia (c) Disney

Exactly, We Bare Bears had an episode that was very similar to the Spongebob Squarepants episode "To Love a Patty", and it was better in every way, from the fact that we never see how disgusting the burrito is, to the reason why Grizz was so close to said burrito, though that scene did get me and dozens of others crying and nearly dying of heart attacks
