Origin Prompt: Their Haunt - show us the area of their boundary where they feel most at home.

Spud is so nice to give Plank a tour of their shipwreck! His familiar may slow him down, but Plank is so eager to see all he can.
His favorite area is the open sea just off the deck, where his human form was made to walk the plank and drown.

"GO ON," Plank heard, somewhere from his past.
"Go on and join us, or make this breath your last."
A weird sort of comfort washed over the esk,
Like a joy found in something that's mostly a mess.
He followed his friend from the sea floor dock
In search of new life and a mossy pet rock.
"Well then," he remembered some voice he knew say.
"If those are my choices, I'll bid you good day."
A splash, a gasp, an upset crew.
A sorely lost friend. If they only knew.
But instead of woe and fret of death,
Plank felt refreshed sinking into the depths.
His old body fell, down into the grunge,
And his new form appeared, with an over-sized sponge.
So onward he paddled, a little bit slow,
To see where his new life with friend Spud would go.

What a lovely new friend Plank has found! They're going to cause all sorts of adorable mischief together~
