Very atmospheric piece!
The surface of the moon is indeed too sharp, I think it's mostly the contrast that's too high.
Unfortunately I detect polka dots and patterns in the cloud layer, which is too bad but probably hard to avoid.

Thanks
The clouds... well, it's Terragen :/ it's not too good, especially when you start playing with a rendered sky, like in this piece. The original TG's sky was quite hardly edited manually after rendering.

Spectacularly good. Love the night sky and the glowing moon, and the way the water goes right up to the mountain, reflecting everything. Also framed really nicely.

The words to the song by Evereve are sad, then beautiful. Your image is hauntingly beautiful, and the work is excellent, in my opinion.

I really like this piece, and I love the concept! My only critique would be for the moon...It doesnt look very realistic, try making it a bit whiter, and more bleached out, from here it looks like a moon pic spherized, Great job overall though

The ground looks really good and atmospheric. The colors are very nice, the hue of blue is just right. The clouds seem a bit too fractal-like in appearance, but that often happens when rendering clouds in software.

I like the composition, but I'd have placed the moon slightly more to the left. The moon itself indeed looks too bright and thus out of place, it's the only element in this picture that I don't like.

Evereve song.

But since I am north american, I had to Google to figure it out.

Looks a little like Mt St Helens , but with a lake in front of it.

I think the moon is perhaps a little too bright, but you could place attention elsewhere by adding irisation to the cloud. There are some nice pictures [HERE] to give you an idea.

The terrain is exquisite. If I really had to get picky (and this is way over the top) I would point out that the shadow doesn't seem to line up with the source of light and the cloud. But that is getting ultra-fanatically picky.

The only other thing I would suggest that might work (given that there is some fogging around the moon) would be corpuscular rays from the cloud.

On the whole, very nice indeed. Take my criticisms as being picky in the extreme .

M.

The depth of the sky is striking, as is the shimmering effect of both the sky and water. I love it.

Overall, I love it,, but is it me or do the clouds almost look like there is a gridlike pattern going thru them... kinda odd...
