In my previous comment I wrote about your works being different experience every time I check them. And here I have a perfect example and confirmation that I was right.
What makes this drawing special and different from your other works is unique character design. Was it inspired by "Okami"? It feels like it because of her white fur with characteristic red marks on it. Aside of that, it's so hard to tell enough good things about her. She is so charming, so calm and so delicate it's even hard to describe her or even take eyes away from her. Wonderful design! Red marks on her face and ears (they are arranged properly, without exaggeration) fits to red eye shadow and single tick eyelashes adds to her feminity as well as her persoonal charm. And she has wonderful, deep eyes. Like I said, it's very hard to stop watching her.
But to be honest, the main feature of atmosphere here is the contrast. Dark blue of the night sky and red flare from fire are mixing, creating some shades of purple. And this mixture contrast with pure white colour of her fur and mane. Speaking of mane, I can't describe how beautifully arranged it is. It's just phenomenal! I just can't praise you enough. And I'm tyring to imagine her on the move - how this long, majestic mane would look if she was running or if the wind was stronger. What is more, the atmosphere of this picture has another ingredient - some oriental feeling, combined with natural vibe. Just pure nature, silence and meditation.
Once again, shading and lighting are done just flawelessly, with heart and amazing skill. It's worth mentioning that not every shadow is a shade of grey; there are some dark blueish shades on her back and mane, but on the other side, we have some orange and red lights coming from the fire. It's intriguing mixture of coldness of the night and warmth of the fireplace. Thanks to all the shading, I almost feel the softness of her fur and delicacy of her hair. It is the pinnacle of your capability but I'm sure that after some time, you'll top it and give us even more marvelous work. "Burning flashlight" is by far your best work and young Granny Smith is not far behind it. Everyone should see how well you can mix shadows and light, emphatising faces and bodies, how greatly you're capturing special atmosphere and how do you remember about small details which in the end raise up artistic value of your works and creates phenomenal impression so the viewer can't take his or her eyes away from it so easly.  Wonderful, unique, charming. Congratulations!
