Finally, I have the uploadable photos of my commissions of Hope, this is the first, painted for Benvy O'boyle, of her first pony, which she shares with her sister, Benvy. The medium is oils on board. The work in progress photographs will be uploaded to scraps soon

Absolutely brilliant. Just like the rest of your drawings and paintings, it's so full of detail that it comes to life.
I like the relatively simple background. It reminds me of Rodin's work, a play with textures to emphasize the object (only in his works the object was smooth and the background or the base were full of texture, but that's because it's sculpting

Amazing use of the light on the face, and the shawdows and highlights in the backround that work well with the horse itself. Great Job

Yeah, bit of a confusing sentace, the sister's names are Benvy and Maeve, they share a pony, I was commissioned to do a portrait of her for each sister. This one was for Benvy, the other one was for Maeve.
