In SMM2, in the Super Mario 3d World, when you hit a pocupuffer with a fire ball, the porcupuffer turns red (this in the first 2 hits) when you shoot a third fire ball the porcupuffer explodes
Thats why the 3 color porcupuffer
If you look more closely, the spikes of the porcupuffer becomes more small, like in the game
