That must be a hard thing to do. Even though she's the element of honesty she has to lie to herself but it's for the greater good. And that's understandable though Poor AJ really needs to off load how she feels on somepony who'll listen and want to help.

Yes there is. And lets hope she does get the love and attention she deserves. Who knows, she might become THE mane character now that Twilight is a princess.

She is a main character in the show, but writers still keep her in background. They think she is boring as a character, because she is not like Rarity or Pinkie (and that is way of thinking for many Bronies) - if they not think like that, they should prove it. I just want to watch how she deals with living on the farm or helping her friends.

You showed a very good point of AJ. She works on a farm and while others are working toward a goal it seems that poor AJ is left to stagnate as she doesn't seem to have a future beyond being an apple farmer and that is unfair as AJ has a bit more of a background then the others as she has had to grow up without her parents and that has made more mature but also it has made her more likely to get upset when things go wrong. It's unfair to AJ as a pony and as a charater to ignore her or call her a background pony.

Well it seems she's not that popular with Hasbro though. The amount of times she doesn't have her hat and when they do bring out figures and such, AJ is always the one with few figures. But why is she so overlooked? She has a more fleshed out back story being an orphan. That is a real dynamic there.

But remember, MLP is for kids (mostly girls). AJ real story will horrify those kids and hasbro will get a bunch of letters to do something with poor AJ or even with whole show(no future seasons - no way).

But if it is handled in a certain way they might be able t get away with it. I'm certain they could focus on how it made AJ a better pony but then just show that she still misses them at the end or the fact she lied about them was to save herself from a painful memory. Who knows they might address her parents, a lot of fans do seem to want an episode focusing on that.

She has an interesting backstory because we don't know much about her past.
Pinkie have some interesting past(not as deep as AJ but still).
It will be a crime if HASBRO will bring back her parents in season 5 (e.g. on another Apple Family Reunion) like "we was on vacation but now we are together".

It's seems that all we do know is what it was like when they were fillies but even then that was very limited. We know more of Pinkies home life on the rock farm then we do of AJ's (which could explain her trauma) but AJ's is a lot more deep as we know she had parents maybe when she got her mark. But not now.
It would be a crime for HASBRO to bring them back even after Faust said that it was true her parents were deceased. Makes her a little more relatable I guess and lot more stronger willed but at the same time someone who needs a lot more support.

That's sort of the one facet that makes AJ an interesting character. I hope they take on some more sensitive topics in the next season because there are a few life lessons about friendship that one can learn like AJ might not have any parents but ashe has friends who care and love her so she isn't alone.

She will be never alone. She have us. But only what we can do is waiting for new season. We can also send a few letters to HASBRO but it will not do much.

No that alright. I look forward to it and I'll hold you to that as well. You saying it might not do much but it has been shown that fans do have an impact. Take the ME3 ending, that is what the power of the fan can do but as long as we keep the faith and stick by her then she will always have somepony. She's there for ponies when they need somepony, it seems only right that there be somepony for her and as long as we are there it's like you said, she will never be alone. AJ might not be the one to typically ask for help but just by being there without being wanted is the sign of a friend I believe.
