"Are you ready, Hotaru?", asked Michiru
"Yes!!" said the young girl with a determined look on her face.

With these words, Hotaru took the deepest breath she could take and her head disappeared underwater. Michiru smiled : "She's growing so fast..." she thought. Taking a deep breath, she followed her young protégé.

The guardian of water placed 4 hoops in one of the deepest part of the pool. Hotaru never swam that deep before, but she was determined to show she could reach the bottom. She swam as fast as her small legs allowed her. Michiru stayed behind her. "You can do it, Hotaru..." she thought. The dark-haired girl proved she was getting better in the water, as she reached the hoops and swam through the 4 of them.

"Well done, Hotaru!" thought Michiru, now swimming beside her.
