Description
This is my attempt at one of those 'text images' wallpapers. Did this using one of the vectors I have made.UPDATE: Found a way to sharpen up the text, so I think that this is an improvement.

It is a process of layering in The Gimp. The background in the image is the radial gradient (gray in the middle, black on the edges).
Over that is a layer of text that has been rotated 5 degrees about the image center. Using color selection, I use that text layer to mask out a segment of the vector. That puts the colored text over the black.
After that, I selectively apply some blurs and shadowing to the vector layer to make it stand out a bit more.
