I must say I love how this turned out. I made this with the help of a tutorial and I must say I'm glad I decided to. Made in Blender. Final edits in Photoshop. Tell me what you think of my special little world.Related content

Love the color effects, everything seems really well done and thought out. Might want to experiment with some different textures on the hexagons though. A glass or metalic texture could really make this stand out.
It is nit-picky but the hexagons appear to not be properly aligned, the gaps are not centered on the points but it is a small thing and I doubt that anyone but a 3D modeler or someone with OCD would notice.
If you do this as a city I'd bevel the edges, it would give them more mass and size as well as making them look like something manufactured instead of computer generated.
