It's as finished as it'll ever be. I don't render my pieces because the only thing that matters is the model. One day when I get my 3D printer I might print one and post it up for everyone to see.

This is quite good, mate. How long do you have to work on it?

It was 6 hours start to finish.

So this is what would happen if a Glock 22 and a Taurus Judge had kids XD

A crazy yet interesting design. What really puzzles me is what the recoil of the revolver portion of the weapon would be like, since it's below the below the fulcrum of the wrist. I imagine a shot would force the gun downward, especially with all it's added weight at the muzzle.

Also, if you want it to look more futuristic, add more furniture to it, i.e., more layers and bits of detail. Although the lower half of the weapon looks pretty extreme, the upper receiver is a bit plain. Also, you'll definitely want to think about adding some sort of iron sights, as it's currently flat-topped.

If you look at the folder on my page it has more shots. I added some additional hardware that isn't in this shot. As for the recoil, it would press straight back as the firing path lines up directly with the bones in your arm if you were holding it properly.

Thank you! My only concern with it is that it doesn't look futuristic enough.

No it does, plus the revolver realoding wheel under gives it kind of an old style mixed with a futuristic one...

Thank you all for your comments, this is a big labor of love for me as this is a possible design to be made into an actual prop scale replica to be sent off to companies in hopes of them allowing my company to license their IP so I can make their designs into other prop scale replicas. (That don't cost an arm and a leg, thank you very much museum replicas!)

Yeah, it's a .50 caliber pistol and a grenade launcher that fires the FRAG-12 grenades, the launcher is chambered in a 12 gauge shotgun round. I got the idea for the launcher mechanism from current DAO (Double Action Only) revolvers only the trigger is a conceptual opposing-action tension mechanism. AKA, you pull the trigger back, once said trigger reaches the preset tension, it releases all tension and drops the hammer, letting the trigger fall forward resets the mechanism and in turn operates the revolver function to chamber the next round.

Awesome concept! Would you mind if I made a version of this in PimpMyGun (that's a flash-based web app with which oyu can make guns)? I would of course credit you and link to this picture.

I have no problem with that whatsoever. The main pistol is a .50 caliber and the "revolver" fire 12 gauge shotgun rounds. For a proper dimension the slide is 10 inches long.

Cool! I think I might change the handgun to a .45ACP and the revolver to.. hm I'm not exactly sure to what calibre I'd change that... BUt I'll make it smaller. Hope those changes are ok with you.

If you'd like to change the caliber or any other integral parts of it, then I'd like you to rename it something different and say it was based off of the original concept.

Already did that, as my version turned out rather differently.
