"He was once just a scientist in the Autobot ranks. Not being much of a fighter, he stuck to his research to help his home world from falling into darkness. All of that changed when Perceptor's lab and fellow colleagues were attacked by Decepticon thugs. As he took up arms to defend his research the realization of the Great War hit closest to home. With all of his data destroyed and numerous friends slaughtered by the ruthless 'Cons, he knew that he would be best served on the field providing technical support for the Autobots. With his sudden overwhelming feelings of hatred toward the Decepticons, Perceptor vowed to do all he could to stop them. Thus he joined the Wreckers... to strike hard at his enemy."
