woah, there is a lot of detail in those chains and the shoes and the shoe laces... how did you make this? very true though, we are all consumers. sadly, we must consume inorder to stay alive. yet we are held at gun point and told to consume. for example: one day you decide you are not going to work. now you have no money. you go to the store, but they give you no food because you can not pay them any money. you try to steal food so a police man with a gun either shoots you or puts you in prison for it (all depending on wether or not you run).
the same goes for clothes, shoes, school ect. kind of scary when our only choices in life are cut down to very simple decisions such as - will i buy pepsi or coke? - will i buy a smoothie or a pint of ice cream? - will i jack off over the internet or will i splooge in the shower holding my laminated picture of pamela anderson (naked) at age 19 lol?

and occasionally you are given this wonderful choice - democrat or republican?

consumer whores, consumer slaves, consumer prisoners... it's all the same. but how to break free from consumerism? i suppose you have to throw away chains that have been placed upon the individual since the birth of civilization. you must think differently to throw these chains off your mind. our consumer culture wants you to think that mankind is above nature and everything should be used to promote its never ending growth and advancement. so all you gota do is realize it is wrong, all of it, all the bull shit about how we were meant to be. throw away it's concept of how mankind was born to rule the universe. if mankind was meant to rule everything and grow this large, then why do we commit suicide, become depressed, pollute, wage war, kill children, rape women, rape children, rape men, commit genocide, and flock towards organized religions, drugs and anti-depressents? it's all hard proof, we see it everyday, every minute.

this is the theory of anarchism. limited competition, limited populations and ultimate freedom. individualism through tribalism - it's the only thing we have left. it has worked for 300,000 years so why not go back to it?

bad religion says," quality or quantity, a choice you have to make." - what good are our lives when there are so many people living the same damn way? all we begin to amount to are statistics in a consumer report, excuse me, a consumer whore report.

sorry about the rant, your art kind of inspired me there for a minute... mabey an hour lol. what do you think vagrant-logic?
