A classic that I removed from my gallery, not sure why. Here it is again.

"We both know who the other is Miss Spryte," the Gamemaster started, "so for the sake of courtesy I'll waive the typical villainous gloat filled introductions."

Shadow Spryte tried to cast a bolt of solidified shadows at him, but something in the webbing was grounding out her magic. He watched warily then relaxed. "Looks like I won that one too."

As she started to curse and threaten him from behind the gag he ignored it and continued. "I wanted to come and tell you in person that in totality you required 100 of my pet spiders to apprehend you; between the ones you destroyed, avoided or were actively involved in your capture."

Gesturing about as if they were having a completely rational conversation he leans forward. "This leaves me in the mood to play another game, you seem too much fun to just let the spiders swarm and smother. What do you say? If you win I let you go."

Apprehensively, but feeling the webbing constrict slowly, Shadow Spryte quit struggling and nodded. Unsure of what she had agreed to, just that it gave her another chance to live.
