Lucky quest

She waits with infinite patience, listening for any sign of weakening resolve: an increased heart rate, an unsteadyness to the breathing. She had made her demands clear: Let the party happen. She had uttered it only once. Calm, and soft spoken. Her face betrayed no emotion. She had neither spoken, nor moved any part of her body, save her eye lids for the ocasional blink. Her apperent lack of passion and subsequent lack of activity would serve to further unsettle Reed. It gave him time to think. Gave him time to doubt that her apperent indiference toward him was truely benign. That hours had passed since she gave her command, yet he had made no move to leave his desk, was evidence that it was working. He would not cave while she was here, she knew. Her appatite ensured that. But the longer she remaned, the stronger Reed's lingering unease would be. An unease that would serve to assist the efforts of the ones to try after her. So she waits with infinite patience.
