Do you know a photographer called Eikoh Hosoe?
This photo, to me, parallels one of his piece titled Ordeal By Roses (Barakei). Its an intriguing shot, yours is quite serene contrasted to the one taken of Yukio Mishima. I don't just like it, I love it. It stands as a modern counterpart to Hosoe's Ordeal By Roses.

it's amazing.
i think it'd be all the more wonderful however, if you tinged the flower to make it just slliiigghtttllyyy pink.
that's just my opinion though, i think it would make it more powerful.
