It's been ten years to the day since I joined this community. My earliest digital artworks were experimentations with shapes and colour while I was still learning how to use photoshop as a seventeen-year-old student. So here's a tribute to my first ever Deviation, Purple Circle using many of the same tools (gaussian blur, liquify, polar coordinates, etc) I used on that artwork that have been favourites for many years, plus some experimentation with other Photoshop tools I've ben learning how to use more recently (such as the pen tool).

My creativity has been greatly siphoned off from visual arts in recent years and channeled into music (see www.jesse-mccoramck.com for more details), which has led me to be very inactive here (I didn't post a single deviation last year!). However, I still love the visual arts, and find satisfaction in consuming and creating artworks for the pleasure of the eye as well as of the ear. I am very grateful for the wonderful people that I've met here on DeviantArt who have supported my growth as a visual artist and enjoyed many a laugh with me. I'd especially like to thank wherethreeroadsmeet , RottenRagamuffin , Chezza932 , and yjsmr for being particularly supportive over the years.

I can't promise that I'll resume being active here, but I just wanted to commemorate my decade of deviousness and thank all my watchers for sticking with me - many of you for almost as long as I've been here!
