Heya Everyone,I thought I would give people a sneak peek at the custom menu I'm working on building for my new demo reel dvd. Being a huge fan of Knight Rider and having met its creator, my good friend Glen A Larson, I decided to theme my demo reel off of its one of a kind interface design. When my dvd is all worked out, the buttons will actually work. V1-V4 will control what's seen on the left screen while S1-S4 will control what's seen on the right screen. The central buttons will go to their designated sections. For you KR enthusiasts out there, this is based upon the console inside KITT but is not meant to be an exact depiction of it.
Also I'm going to make the lacer lights move up and down (eject l/r lightbar) and the basic press button blocks rotate lighting up. It's going to take a hell of a lot of work to pull all this stuff off so wish me luck. I created the interface in illustrator, then colored everything in photoshop. Everything you see (aside from me) is entirely created in photoshop, all those buttons are from scratch.

Thank you for dropping by I added some art I been working on and had posted on my FB group page...but I really want to be seen here too...I am not as good as you...nor do I have the money to be able to do the work you can...I admire your work very much...I do try with what I have available to me...Let me know what you think about my three newest ones...Baptism by Fire, K.A.R.R. and K.I.T.T. My pleasure and thanks for your kind words. What I do is relatively simple, you just have to have enough patience to learn technique and research the little things to get the details right. I have no dexterity with a physical paintbrush (or wacom for that matter) and while I can sketch illustrations here and there by hand, I just find the computer easier for technical work, especially with precise shapes and line weights. To that end, my work will probably look a bit stiff as I do all my digital illustrations with a mouse. (insane I know)
I think you did a great job with your illustrations of K.I.T.T. and K.A.R.R. I don't think the medium matters so much as the passion that is put into a piece and I can see you enjoy what you make. Without passion, it's just work.
