Rainbow Dash looks like she's trying to prove something, but probably isn't going about it in the correct fashion. I really don't think Soarin minds at all though.

Once again I tried to do some vector art and went about it wrong. I did better this time, everything except the blush, action lines, and "Pomf!" has a path associated with it, however this was done in Photoshop and not illustrator so the strokes and fills worked completely differently from what I expected, but rather than start all over I rolled with it and completed the piece. So now I know, next time I'll try with Illustrator.

I decided against posting the original sketch, because it was drawn on the back of a gas bill so there was random text mixed in. Inspiration never strikes when I'm near a sketchbook, what's up with that?
