I really love these. Out of curiosity, do you start this big, or do you start small, and then blow it up? Just curious.

Thank you! I start with a small canvas and resize it 200-400% when I'm done.

Great use of visual direction in your composition.Β The eye is drawn into increasingly smaller details by the gradient of contrast.
I especially like the little bugs and the fish swimming about.Β It's the little things that really make this scene come to life, IMHO.

It reminds me William Gibson's "All Tomorrow's Parties" novel.

I love the tiny details like the insects flying around the plants! There is a lot of interesting architecture in both the foreground and background, and the fading out of details in the horizon draws our eyes to what is happening in the foreground.

This is surely one of my most favorite pieces of yours...Β
All your pixelart is phenomenal but this specific one has an atmosphere that I absolutely love, it makes me want to hop into the picture!
Incredible job, as always.

It was a good decision to keep the clouds where they are. Your animation is quite efficient and manageable, while one could actually feel the wind blowing by just looking at it. Well done!
