Description I went to YT and listened to Princess Daisy sayings and utterances from Mario games over the years, read and referenced a page of quotes by the character, applied the rules of Dungeons and Dragons 5e and put my rendition of the character in this solo module: 1shotadventures.com/wp-content… which I played straight and got very lucky, beyond creative privilege, with sometimes. All of the pictures are just for reference; I didn't write the adventure or the rules to dungeons and dragons; I used someone's homebrew rules for a princess class; and I use direct quotes from Daisy's appearances in Nintendo's games as place setters to her original character and a reminder who I am trying to write about.

Prelude

The ball is full of light and a splendor like the inside of a gaudily decorated cake. Little underlings of all variety zip about at the knees and ankles of the people, in these peace times even former aggressors like goomba, koopa, nyoloins, boos, suus, etc are among the vast serving force of hip level toads. Familiarity of the court is next to familial all around as everyone has either fought with or against one another for very long times in everything from casual sport challenges to stay keen in peace times to campaigns to save one another from the former masters of the creatures all are careful now NOT to stomp on.
In the glowing familiarity are social stamens of people welcoming the strange and exciting to their royal ranks. The lofty hall dampens everyone’s favorite remixed tunes from their adventures floating then settling just below the speaking voices so everyone can chat within their cliché and not overhear too much from behind.

Daisy is still in her room out of dress playing chess with a bound toad servant while her Nyoloin familiar slithers clothing articles to the princess’ tensely planted feet.

Daisy “I heard you were the best at this game! Why are you losing?”
Toad servant (Bridge) “It’s a game of patterns, your highness, but I believe I may say as much to you: your ‘strategy’ resembles one rolling a dice.”
Daisy “Ohhh! I wish this was dice! Do you play?”
Bridge “You’re just two moves to checkmate, your highness-”
Daisy “You can just call me boss OK? NO giving up either!”
Bridge “Yes. Boss.”
Daisy “Aha!”
Bridge “Are you sure?”
Daisy “I’m so sure!”
Bridge “Checkmate.” Bridge leans into his restraints with a sigh but straightens like an icicle with the realization of winning against a princess.
Daisy “NooooooOOO!” Daisy’s disappointment fades like the end of a scene, “Dang, you got swagger Bridge. Nyo! Bite this guy free!”
Bridge “You know my name?”
Daisy “Uhhhh, yeah! We just played this game for how many hours in my room? Room. Game. Ball. Ball game. Ball game room… Wooooah! Almost missed a party B! Nyo can’t really help without arms so you’ll do.”
Bridge blushes as Daisy strips her pajama pants to reveal she’s just been in a onesie this whole time.
Daisy “Dress is in here somewhere, I gotta bling up.”
Bridge dumbly watches the princess collect and don her signature jewelry feeling just starting to leak back into his legs from being restrained and sitting in the chair so long. Daisy is a crown and dress shy of ready when Nyo slithers to Bridge’s feet with the dress in its mouth; Bridge dutifully snatches the dress and hops atop Daisy’s bed to get the height he needs to help her pull it over. Daisy turns to him and sees his scared eyes and her disheveled bed and room beyond him, “Sorry buddy, you have to bet before you win! Maybe next time though - You found it! OK! Parrrrrtayy time! Nyo!” Daisy summons her Nyoloin with a stomp and the dutiful snake climbs her leg as Bridge strains to help the dress fall over her head. Nyo emerges from a sleeve with Daisy’s crown and Bridge accepts the honor of donning it.
Daisy “Not bad you two! Let’s paaarrrrrrty!”

Daisy swirls into the ballroom, and is into the thick of the people with a drink in hand before the usher can finish announcing her; she cuts through the crowd with affectionate bursting greetings to all the familiar faces, giving those she sees weekly less explosive expression than the few old faces she embraces and hip bumps before reaching the opposite side of the room with time to survey and strike at the bustle again. She scans the rainbow bleeding room but stops upon seeing someone positively gray and shaded looking, “Whoa!” Daisy twists her neck side to side to meet someone’s eyes, she can’t be the only one seeing this person right? She bumps her thigh into something squishy, “Bridge!? Did you just follow me here??”
Bridge “I was invited-”
Daisy “Nevermind! Glad you're here,” Daisy sets her glass aside and picks Bridge up like a baby facing outwards.
Daisy “See her?” Daisy struggles to hold Bridge while he squirms “Stop! Here just on my shoulders.”
Bridge “I can’t! This isn’t appropriate, princess!”
Daisy “‘Boss’ and neither is NOT doing what I say.”
Bridge’s logic is appealed to and he sits on Daisy’s shoulders to look where she points across the room.
Bridge “She’s from the other side of the mountains, a noble there I think.”
The ball goers are generally used to Daisy’s antics at parties and her loudness in all things, but a local crowd of eyes hold the spectacle of Daisy and Bridge in totem like it would turn scandalous at any moment.
Daisy helps Bridge down, “Come on! Daisy needs a mysterious new friend.”
Daisy’s progress back through the room is slower as she tugs Bridge along by the cap, causing him some pain and ultimately disappointment for Daisy as she misses the lady entirely. She interviews the people where the gray woman was and they say the woman left already, then the formalities begin with a “Waaahhooo!” as Mario takes room center with Peach, Luigi, etc. Etc. Daisy leaves to try following the woman but loses her trail in the garden. The light snow which had been falling all evening picks up with a wind and Bridge tugs at Daisy’s dress before the pair move inside.

Bridge “Boss, a light in the mountains.”
Daisy “How?! That’s so far already! Get me a cloud!”
Bridge “Boss the storm’s bad!”
Daisy “Ughh! Ahhhh! I don’t want to lose her!”
Bridge “If she’s sane at all she’ll have to stop at a tavern for the night, I know all the spots up there. We can go in the morning when the storm passes.”
Daisy “Ohhh? Alright! This is on you now if I meet that woman or not, I would take a cloud but then you couldn’t sleep” Daisy chats with Bridge as they return indoors, “You know ALL the spots?”
Bridge “I climb in the summer.”
Daisy “A climber!? You? Ohh Bridge! You exciting little surprise!”

The storm continues through the next day, and the next and Bridge meets Daisy with a bag of supplies at the castle gate all adorned for a snowy mountain adventure like a little shroomy cliffhanger. Daisy’s arms are crossed over her fur lined cleavage as he waddles up to her with more bad news than a two day delay in tracking the gray woman, “There aren’t any clouds in the stable.”
Daisy “B! Do you need to be bound to a chair again with a nice view of the sky until you can predict weather better?”
Bridge “N-no..”
Daisy “Kidding! Come on! No clouds means no clouds after all! All this light and snow really makes Daisy’s spirit grow!”
Bridge sighs relief and awaits Daisy to take the first step into their adventure.
Daisy “What are you doing? Go already! We can’t go faster than you!”
Bridge is surprised by the princesses sudden show of logic, cruel logic.

Mountain Tavern

Daisy blows in from the assaulting winds and snow, her cloak catches the dying flames of fires lit all about the room like a flash to the dank atmosphere of the barhouse. Shock gives her a moment to dust off while all the eyes of veteran enemies too unsightly for the likes of peace balls ogle her. A large, dented and cracked bullet bill floats front and center and addresses the newcomer with the booming voice of all the room.

BB “Here’s a Princess Daisy, we lot! Betta grab us all our bess ‘fwe gonna compete wit dat ball she aint at now for our lot!” The room resounds in sarcastic play along and movement, but the Bullet Bill stands alone only three quarters lit to the wind whipped cheeks of Daisy and the stuttering stance of Bridge. The Bill floats closer as he continues, “Where da tin man, no tubby one eider!? Jus’ a princess wit one squishy knee kissa? Hahah!” Nyo slithers from Daisy’s hood with a spark of flame from its mouth stopping Bill’s advance and quieting the room for a moment.
Daisy “Can we be done with all this talking and posturing that the castle people do? I’m looking for someone.”
Bill “Da princess wit one of our lot in her dress and a wivering squish makes business? No cake? No car-pet!?”
Daisy “I’m a superstar! I don’t need guards and carpets. I dooooo need in-for-mation!”
Bill “OK, OK. Bet we know da one, come.”

Daisy follows Bill at a distance to avoid his dim propelling flame. He stops and koopa bartender steps up to pour two glasses of gasoline smelling liquid, he dumps the first in Bills mouth and walks up the bar into obscurity. Daisy takes her own glass and kicks it back. Bridge yelps and Bill looks still with surprise again as Daisy shakes the liquid down with her head tilted back.

Bill “You crazy girl?! Dat wasn’t suppos' to be fer da likes of you!”
Daisy “Some man-!” Daisy reels  and doubles over to puke next to Bridge’s feet. Miraculously she gets it all only on the floor and the feet of the stools. Daisy straightens and pulls a green and white mushroom from the pack on Bridges shoulders and munches it with a sigh of relief.
Bill “You is crazy. OK. Imma help you. What you look for?”
Daisy “Good choice! I’m looking for an ice princess, wanderer vagrant person..”
Bridge chimes in, “A lady Enfy.”
Daisy “A lady Enfy! She wears a lot of grey, she practically looked like a wolf when she left.”
Bill “We know dis one, she came and went not so long ago now. Even we know where she go.”
Daisy “Well, I’m sitting here.”
Bill “Dis mout’ don’t move fer free, you lookin to be more dan a princess we teach you. Pay.”
Daisy “Pay? Cool! Got it! Gimme the bag B.” Daisy takes the bag off Bridge’s shoulders, “And sit down somewhere! Good help, right?” Daisy pulls a large turnip from the bag and Bullet Bills eyes widen as he glides back and a general stir goes about the room with stool legs and murmurs.
Bill “Dis is peace times! Crazy princess come up our home to assassin us?!”
Daisy “No! No! No! Wait! Waaaaaait!” The movement of the room slows to a tense vibration, “I want to trade this for the information. You can eat it or something.”
Bill “Eat dis? Prinz we tink you’d still be offerin death like dat!”
Daisy slowly lowers the turnip to the counter closer to Bill, “It’s yours now. Now how about my wolf girl?”
Bill floats towards the turnip and signals the koopa barkeep to come collect it and dump some more gasoline into his mouth before he disappears again.
Bill “OK. Da grey wolf coat girl? She gone to da castle o’ madness prinz! You know dat? What dat mean?”
Daisy “Tell me!”
Bill “It mean she crazier dan you!”
Daisy “I don’t like not being number one.. I better go there too! How do I get there?”
Bill rests his body on the bar and the elusive barkeep walks by with a towel swipe to Bill’s brow.
Bill “How we suppos’ to make any da sense o’ dis? OK-”

Bill outlines the way and Bridge takes notes from behind Daisy. The tension cuts when Daisy immerses with the bar of former enemies and after downing a couple gasolines cut by a couple more green and white mushrooms Daisy takes to entertaining the lot like it was a gentleman’s club until Bridge soberly helps her to the best room from a pick of poisons and attempts to stay awake guarding the disrobed and defaced princess, but he quickly succumbs trek weary.

Daisy lays sprawled like a Daisy once again stripped only to her bright royal onsie again as Bridge readies her gear and warm clothes for the day. Nyo slithers suddenly from somewhere under Daisy, but Bridge is too tired still to startle and he keeps dutifully collecting articles and objects to fit into the party’s travel pack.
“Ohhhhhhh! Oh no!” goes Daisy from a stupor. She bolts upright and pounces past Bridges hands into the pack and smashes a red and white mushroom into her mouth before going limp half off of the bed. Bridge only meant to look caringly upon the princess, but his eyes lock on to how far up from the bed Daisy’s booty mounds climb - he doesn’t remember noticing how round and smooth the princess is the other two times he’s seen her so undressed. He was always dutifully focused on keeping a dress straight or keeping her from falling into something. She looks up. Bridge flares red under his spotted cap and shuns himself for forgetting that princesses MUST be psychic; however, Daisy just brings the other half of the mushroom into her mouth and she swings her legs to a seat.

“Ahhhh! OHo! Yeah! Daisy’s back!” Bridge turns to brush off some surface so his face can cool.
Daisy “This is insane! Right? We just started and this is already so much more fun than all the games and parties of this year! Bridge I don’t think they care about cleanliness in here, we better hit the road anyway. Billy down there makes it sound like that place is far and my legs are not used to lugging all this Daisy up and around like this!”

The Mountain ‘Path’ to the Castle

Bridge “Boss, do you need a rest?”
Daisy “I’m heh, heh, fine! Do you??”
Bridge “NO - um, I’m sure we’re close.”
Daisy “Yeah, yeahaaahh! Ho! Woo. heh heh.”

Daisy is huffing her way atop the snow even keeping with Bridges short hops. She’s strapped two of her tennis rackets to her feet and has another one made all of sharp metal body and wire at her waist which is blue with the shrill cold. It’s getting dark and Bridge feels sick as he pictures the princess and himself freezing in the open white abyss of the snow tucked mountain grave, but his fears fall away and he feels he’s flying with confidence as he warms up some in the increased dark. He hits the ground with a harmless puff and a wave of powder buries him.

Daisy wriggles and vocalizes “Ah! Legh! Puh, puh! Oooooh K! B! B! Nyo! There you are buddy.. B!”
Bridges muffled voice “Princess!”

Daisy spots the moving snow from the light above and launches her arms into the cold mass until she feels the tender resistance of a cap and pulls.

Bridges scream gets louder as he surfaces “Aaahhhhhhowwww! That hurts you know!”
Daisy “UH-oh! No, no, hey B. Sor-”
Bridges “Boss! You saved me!” Bridges hugs Daisy’s felt padded legs.
Daisy swells victoriously, “That’s right! I’m the best!”
Bridge “You are, you are boss!”
Daisy “OK, B. OK superstar, what happened? Where’s boss Daisy now?”
Bridge straightens and releases Daisy’s legs to look around. He looks at some notes then lights up to all smiles, “The Cave! The Cave! Bill said-”
Daisy “THE cave? We were looking for a castle, B.”
Bridge “This is it! This is a way into it anyway…”
Daisy “Really? Woo-hoo! Team Daisy! We did it!”
Bridge “Well-”
Daisy “Come on! Turn on a light somewhere.”

Bridge pulls a star from the pack and smacks it from strobe to solid glow, he hustles to catch up to Daisy’s inward venturing.

Daisy suddenly shares a revelation, “I think we are on the right track!”
Bridge “We could be”
Daisy pulls Bridge’s star arm close to the ground, “Look! It’s like someone just swept here - probably the gray girl’s big furry cape”
Bridge double checks the math and is stunned again by his boss’ perception.
Daisy “Come on! Wheels up!”
Daisy skips down the dark hall with only a fraction of the star’s light behind her lighting a meter ahead of her bounds and Bridge shuffles frantically to keep at least that much light casting. Daisy halts at a three pronged tunnel fork, Bridge runs well into the carved out branch off with his head tucked down for aerodynamics.

Daisy saves him from ramming his sensitive cap into rough rock, “B! Stop!”
Bridge “HUH? Oh my! Three passages..”
Daisy “Yeeeep! Aaaaand we chooooose… There! It’s ground is clear like the rest of the cave.”
Bridge “Wait! This one is so much warmer than everywhere else though.”
Daisy “Noope! Sorry, B! You get the next one! Here we go.”
Bridge “I’m coming, wait-”

Wet sounding squealing and rending echo from the tunnel ahead. Bridge shivers in his britches as he whispers up to Daisy. She’s not where he remembers.

Daisy “Daisyyyyyy!”

Daisy is running ahead with her weaponized tennis racket in one hand and a bright strobing star both held high and wide above her head. Bridge tucks his head and shuffles to follow.

A tubby bellied imp with long strong clawed arms and piranha teeth has a gore torn seal in its claws and mouth. Daisy gawks at the horror blinking in the star's strobe before tapping her light to static glow and lowering her racket in front of her face. The fiend screeches!

Daisy hops to and hits the fiend with her racket (Roll20 - crit damage 12) the razor wires of her racket catch the fiend’s abdomen and seem to tear a whole chunk of the monster’s belly from its master. Cold blue blood mixed with a yellow waxen substance gushes from the torn belly, some of it spurting as far as to soil Daisy’s velvety winter wear. Bridge is frozen with fear for a moment, but he sees how close the princess is to the abomination and he moves to her side to toss a turnip at the fiend’s abysmal eyes. The turnip slips from Bridge’s chilly fingers and rolls beside him.

Bridge “No!”

The fiend’s bigger clawed arm lashes Daisy’s attempted shielding with her racket, the claws hook past her guard and catch her by the back shoulder and push her (Roll17+5 vs. 13AC damage 5)staggering away from the center of the room. Bridge is alone in front of the monstrosity. Nyo writhes from Daisy’s pant leg with a tickle and puffs a fireball at the fiend (Roll18 vs 15 3 fire damage)

Daisy uses Inspiring Call to encourage Bridges with her princessly power “B! Checkmate it! Use the star!”

Bridge taps the star to strobe and holds it above his head.
Daisy shakes her head as she comes in from behind the fiend now - it’s attention fixed to the helpless mushroom person with a flashy star toy. She swings with both her hands tight on her racket! “Yeeeee-haw!” (Adv 16 vs 15AC damage 6) Nyo hisses from Daisy’s sleeve and bites onto the bleeding staggering monsters belly hole (Roll20 - no crit 4 damage +slow)

The fiend waves its bloodied arms over its crumbling gored mass and steely cold air starts to fill the room, but it cannot heal so it throws both of its claws desperately at Bridge! (16 and 17 vs 16AC damage 12) Four fleshy valleys cut through Bridge’s cap and he falls forward onto his face with the blood dripping demon looming over him.

Daisy rushes at the horrors side with her war racket, but it’s grown accustomed to her sneak attacks and steps aside ready to tear its claws through her and rend the meat from her like the seal.
Nyo releases a fireball point blank into the fiends melty core (15 vs 15 5 damage)
The demon stretches tall and stiffens into a fall as Nyo releases its bite and swallows the flame. Daisy jumps to dodge the falling corpse (18 vs DC10). The competitive spring fills her step and she hops free from the corpse’s ‘timbering’. Daisy kneels and places her hand on the back of Bridge’s neck, “You can do this, I just know it!”

Daisy uses Inspiring Touch to heal Bridge for 10 HP, the valleys torn through his cap fuse with a warm yellow light and only slightly raised scar lines remain perceptible.

Bridge “You saved me again, princess! Unbelievable!”
Daisy “That was brutal!”
Bridge grips his head, “That was not just a koopa or goomba”
Daisy “That was gnarly!”
Bridge “Are you excited by this?”
Daisy “We’re all alive. I’m really alive! Woohoo! Uh huh! Team Dai- mmhph!”
Daisy “PLeh, B! What gives?”
Bridge “There could be more we will alert if you don’t keep it down.. Boss.”
Daisy “That’s my chess wizard. OK. Onward. Good snakey, good snake.”

Bridge watches with a tinge of envy as Nyo - somewhat everyone’s hero - collects its boon in the form of a long, slow, winding trip up Princess Daisy’s pant leg and to wherever it always lays in wait… Bridge halts his imagination with utility as he stands and taps his star back to static to look over the room and the monster. His scan comes to the monster’s wide perpetually grinning piranha mouth which in an instant flies from its head just past Bridge’s cap.

Daisy “Fore!” She walks past Bridge, with an encouraging caress to his scarred cap, and picks up the intact monster’s jaw. “Throw me a red mushroom and put this in the bag”
Bridge “You’re keeping this!?”
Daisy kneels to Bridges level smiling brightly and she grabs a mushroom herself to stuff in her bloodied cheeks, “Come on, B! Have you ever seen something like that not in a Chain-Chomps head? It’s a trophy! We won!”

Bridge nods his understanding and cleans the monster jaw with snow before stowing it.
Daisy “Here we go!”

Bridge rolls his eyes to Daisy’s transparency and lack of finesse in dangerous situations. They continue into nippy winds and twisted corridor winding for 20 minutes at Bridge speed and come to a slick flat ice wall. Daisy reaches to her waist.

Bridge “Boss wait! We don’t know if busting that will cause the other ice to fall.”
Daisy grins through the dull starlight and she raises Nyo to the wall. Nyo burps a stream of fire and the wall melts from the inside out until a hole of 2m diameter is made. Daisy lets Nyo hide and steps through, her arms protrude back through to help Bridge up the step.

Daisy leads the climb up a few stairs and ends up standing toe to base with a ruined statue, she looks around her and sees more ruined yard ornamentation, dead plants, a guard house and maybe a servant’s entrance.

Daisy “It’s the garden! It's the castle courtyard! Winner!”
Bridge “Wow! We are actually in a castle!”
Daisy “Watch those ‘actuallys’, sweetie.”
Bridge “I-”
Daisy “Forget it! Here. We. Go.”

Daisy stops and looks down to Bridge, “Which way?”
Bridge “Me? I choose?”
Daisy “We’re team Daisy, but it’s your turn.”

Bridge feels a familiar draw to the servant’s door, one almost like being homeward bound after the piles of strife in this strange snowy land. The doorframe is collapsed but Bridge slides comfortably through the remaining entry, Daisy crawls her way through after him then stands in the floor is cracked and dented from massive foot prints and old blood covers most of the lower walls like someone gave up painting the rest. Bridge’s star glow dims into the recess of a pantry then rapidly emerges as he gasps and staggers back into Daisy’s legs. Daisy slaps away Bridge’s pleading tugs and she steps into the stone closet space with her own light held high. She lowers the glow past rotted shelves to the pile of supplies which once were stored on their now rotted platforms and a skeleton is among the incidentals.

Daisy mimics Bridge’s gasping retreat of the room and shrugs at his slowly shaking head before continuing. The next room is the banquet hall with better preserved woodwork in the seating and tables than the pantry’s shelves but the tapestries here look like beggars blankets and a large hole beneath an especially dismal looking wall hanging. Daisy’s curiosity pulls her feet to the edge of the hole for a peep, Bridge pulls a turnip to the ready and follows quietly behind.

It reeks of something fierce. Daisy pulls her hood around her neck  to mask her lower face and Bridge drops his star in the hole while trying to pinch his nose.

Daisy “Only about 10 feet down.”
Bridge “You think the wolf lady went in this stinking pit??”
Daisy “We have to get your star back.”
Bridge “You have yours!”

Daisy hops into the hole leaving Bridge in almost absolute dark, she doesn’t land perfectly (-1HP), Bridge plops from above (-1HP). Daisy puts the star in Bridge’s hand and pulls him up by the same arm she whispers, “Not too bad.”

The leaking, stinking room swallows the star’s light over and over again as the duo (trio) search until the light swallowing ceases and a door appears from the abyss.

Daisy “Look at these murder scrawlings in the door. I can’t read anything of it.”
Bridge “Murder? Maybe we should try another way.”
Daisy “Where else?”

There is nothing but blackness behind the door. Bridge lifts his star so he can give the nod of consent to move forward in the light.

Daisy draws her racket and pushes the door open with it.

A warm wave of thick garbage and death stench blow into the cold room behind, and by the glow of the collective stars lights the smooth stone floor of the room looks slick until it pools just off center where a naked skin and bones man-like creature props its body like an anatomy model on bloodied tendons. Bridge chucks a turnip at it! (14 vs 10AC 2 damage)

Daisy “Woo! Not too bad, right?”
Bridge “Bad! Very bad!”

The blood man seems to float up to Bridge before one of it’s clawed arms is puppeteered by a tendon slinging blood over Bridge’s cap (15 vs 16) Daisy swings at the blood man’s exposed rib (20 - crit 12 damage). The blow makes the man-like model sag like it’s cracked in half, and the whole dripping monstrosity has a new target to molest.

Daisy “Yes, Daisy!”

Bridge sees the thing changing its focus and hucks another turnip at it to get its attention back (16 vs 10 4 damage) the whole creeping mass snaps and collapses into the blood with a thudding splash.

Bridge “TEam Daisy!!”

Daisy laughs at the blood drenched Bridge smiling proudly under the flag of her mannerisms.
Daisy “Daisy!”
Both “Team DAisy!”

A splash of water makes the bridge look almost fresh, but all the blood, soot, and dust seems to gradually make a horror castle camouflage of Daisy’s velvety winter track suit.

Daisy “Why did the gray lady come here?”
Bridge “Princess, I think we should try to leave while we can.”
Daisy “What happened to the blood soaked Team Daisy Bridge?”
Bridge “I think that Bridge already fell down.. How do you stay so positive in this?”
Daisy “Ohhh boy! Well.. Winning is a matter of timing and luck, and so far all we’ve used is timing - it seems to be dinner time for every horrible monster in this place!”
Bridge “OK. And?”
Daisy “So we have plenty of luck left!”
Bridge “Lucks not a- a thing you can buy or find.”
Daisy “Have you looked? Come on, B! I need you! And I think gray needs us.”

As Bridge and Daisy survey the bloodied room it is agreed that this must still be a servant’s quarters. While scanning the room for clues Team Daisy discovers a furry reddish brown mass in the blood pool and they fish it out; it’s the gray lady’s corpse drained transparent from blood loss!

Daisy “Noooo!”
Bridge “My stars!”
Daisy “Gray lady!”
Bridge “Boss, you’re getting more blood on you.”
Daisy “It’s her Bridge! This is her cloak!”
Bridge “I’m sorry… this is all so horrible.”

Daisy sits on the wretched floor gazing in silence at her mysterious woman.
Bridge has remained outwardly calm at least, not sharing the princesses obsession with the woman, he looks through the room further and discovers a painting of the gray lady and a servant.

Bridge mentally reminds himself to say ‘boss’ and maybe lighten the mood, “Boss I found a painting of a queen and a commoner, isn’t this the gray lady?”
Daisy “Lemme see! Ohhhh, it’s her. Her pure pale features and crisp golden hair… golden!?”
Daisy slides on the blood slick floor to the furred corpse, “Black! This hair is black!”
Bridge “It all just looks ‘blood’ to me.”
Daisy “B! It’s cold up here! Everyone wears a big fur cloak! Gray lady is alive here somewhere still!”

Bridge is too happy and proud of his uplifting the princess to suggest leaving the nightmare behind, besides he believes as he looks at the visage of his battle-stained, tall, glowing warrior princess that no one was leaving until Princess Daisy had her cup of tea with the gray lady; furthermore, he wasn’t sure he could leave until he uncovered the mystery of this foul place tucked just a mountain away from the splendor of his peaceful castle life.
