Alan Turing was a world renown mathematical genius who opposed fascism and helped decrypt fascist communications. He is widely credited as the father of the modern computer. After his military usefulness reached an end he became persecuted by the British government for his support of socialism, and when he was found to be sexually involved with another man, he was forcibly chemically castrated. He committed suicide two years later.Related content

I am crying because of the evil and cruelness humanity is capable of...why do people force someone so amazing to comit suicide? He was someone with hopes and dreams...I hope those people died horrible... I am sad to say this because I'm normaly pretty optimistic and believe in the good in people,but something like this allways gives me a bullet in the heart ;____;

Considering agency activity at the time it wouldn't surprise me if they had assassinated an increasingly malcontented socialist with a genius intellect and government secrets and abilities that would have been useful to the soviets if he had ever left the nation that chemically mutilated him, and covered it up with a fake suicide.
I consider suicide likely given the conditions he suffered but it's at least entirely plausible that he was murdered.

It was, technically.
Since it was a government project funded by the people's taxes, it is the result of the collective power of the people, meaning that it is Socialist in nature. If it was created SOLELY for profit, then it would be Capitalistic in nature.
Bonus hint: If something is invented/discovered through interest rather than profit, it is also technically Socialist in nature.
