drawn with my non dominant hand due to having Carpal Tunnel Syndrome in my right hand.carpal tunnel syndrome (aka CTS) equals MUCH pain, so even holding a pen is very painful for me ATM.
^sorry for repeating that over and over again, I'll just post that on every drawing I make while having CTS until (hopefully) it's over! Mostly because some people don't always read the description, and for new viewers and watchers too!
and to change from that topic...uuh, more Homestuck art? 8D *shot* Miss Kanaya Maryam this ime, she was actually rALLY fun to draw and color like this <3

When I draw with my non-dom, it looks like an octopus eating an entangled bunch of fingers.

heyy, firstly this is super special awesome and I love it
secondly, I also suffer/suffered from cts because of drawing and also being in hair school
I had a really great doctor that prescribed me some steroids. I was really reluctant to try them because I really hate pills, so I went to another doctor who prescribed me heavy muscle relaxers (which worked, but only while I was taking it and I couldnt take them during the day becasue I couldnt function..) I finally broke down and took the steroids and got some heavy duty wrist braces to sleep in.
They tasted awful, but I very rarely have symptoms of the CTS now, two years later.
if you're not being treated, or if you have a doctor suggesting surgery, ask them about that because it really helped me and I'd hate to see someone get that surgery if something else can help them.

Goodness, I like to draw with my non-dominant hand too! Although, I've only done it a few times... and I can't say I've tried a full-blown colored piece like this.
I really like the texture! Can I ask how you applied it? (What kind of setting was the texture layer on, and was it over the whole picture?)

well, it's all done traditionally so the texture is a combination of copic markers and dry pastell!
