Once again, left hand VS right hand AND this time also character comparison which means that I drew the same character with different hands, to compare the styles!so right girl scetch = left hand
left girl scetch = right hand
and ink & color is entirely done by my right hand because I am not good enough at that while using my left hand! ...yet.
It's actually fun to work like this, it almost feels like doing a collab with someone, but with my other hand! ...or something like that, it's hard to explain, but it doesn't feel like I am inking my own artwork when I switch hands like that XD
Also...uhhm... I think I have to mention this as it's Stella I have drawn, because she's the maincharacter of a comic I WAS working on.
Many have wondered what has happened with it, so well...
the thing is, I got a job, or wait, not just one but TWO jobs.
So working on a comic at the same time just was a bit too much for me :/
I still LOVE the story though and I DO want to finish it one day, but now the problem is is that the pages are almost two years old and now my right hand style doesn't match it all too good anymore.
So..I am actually thinking about redrawing it, but this time I might eve consider scetching it with my left hand, because honestly?
I MUCH prefer that left hand style over the original comics style.
But I still have two jobs, AND my problem with my hands (at least my right hand, my left hand is better than ever!) so that won't happen anytime soon.
Anyway, if you read all this it would be nice to have your opinion on which style you prefer!

I love this picture, the color is amazing, and I like also the characters. I've read your journal, and I like more the picture of the right (The one you've done with the left hand. Something really amazing, because I can't draw anything with the left hand, and I seeing that picture and I get amazed) Well, hope you get better and you've time to draw.

I prefer the heads of your right hand and the bodies of your left hand..well, the legs really (for the left hand I mean). I also like her hair the darker shade of red/pink.
But, regardless of how you choose to go, I'll still read and love the story

The hands look a bit smoother on the one you sketched with your right hand.

to be honest, i first have to congratulate you on being able to use both hands when it comes to drawing. then i have to congratulate you on getting two jobs.
now, to get to the artist perspective of this comment.
i think you have done really well with drawing both sides and coloring stella. from my opinion i think both sides look equally good. the left side has a more comic chibi style to it while the right side has a more manga chibi style to it. the coloring on the right is more vibrant while the left seems more soft and mellow...calming and peaceful even.
so with that said, good luck on your new jobs and hopefully you can start working on your comic again. β₯

i have a question too, I'm going to the doctors on friday because we think ive got rsi in my dominant habnd from drawing, os it possible to develop cts from this if i keep drawing alot every day? i have an ongoing 2 week art exam from tomorrow so im worryuing :S

I like them both, but the one of the right is my fave.

I like the one on the left a little more, but the legs and dress of the one on the right are much better. The dress is more dynamic and legs seem more in proportion. I also like Right's nose and mouth, but the cheeks seem a little overboard. I think most of what I like about Left is the colors, but I think her hair, specifically over her forehead and the curl on top, is better.
Overall, Left is cuter, Right is more lively.

I do like both girls. When I first saw this, without reading your comments below it, I thought that this was kind of magical girl. That the left girl would become the right one... I don't know why I thought this, but it just popped up onto my mind.

I think I'd prefer a mix of these styles instead of having to choose between them, because they both have their strong points. I like the left girl, but with a nose and slightly brighter colors and shading like the right girl.

What I can do is write with both hands, I use left when I get tired with the right, and then when I have to transfer it to the computer it does feel like it was written by another person, so I know what you mean I guess. I have to try drawing (:

I like the style of the girl on the left more, but I like the way you colored the girl on the right.

I like the left-hand style because she's more filled out and has a nose. But I like the right-hand style better because she's cute without being over-the-top cute. It's hard to choose... If the left-hand girl had the color of the right-hand girl, I'd like her best. In the end I say the left-hand girl because of her legs, skirt and scarf folds.

If these two are to be taken as the ultimate reference then I'd say I like your left hand drawings more. Haha XD
And congratulations on getting a job, I mean if it's what you wanted. owo As for a comic, I'd be eager to read it when you do it.

I can't really decide which one I linke more, but the left girl has kind of a wierd expression (smiling and winking, but the eyebrows are shaped as if she was just about to cry...)
