Description Once again, left hand VS right hand AND this time also character comparison which means that I drew the same character with different hands, to compare the styles!

so right girl scetch = left hand
left girl scetch = right hand

and ink & color is entirely done by my right hand because I am not good enough at that while using my left hand! ...yet.
It's actually fun to work like this, it almost feels like doing a collab with someone, but with my other hand! ...or something like that, it's hard to explain, but it doesn't feel like I am inking my own artwork when I switch hands like that XD


Also...uhhm... I think I have to mention this as it's Stella I have drawn, because she's the maincharacter of a comic I WAS working on.
Many have wondered what has happened with it, so well...
the thing is, I got a job, or wait, not just one but TWO jobs.
So working on a comic at the same time just was a bit too much for me :/

I still LOVE the story though and I DO want to finish it one day, but now the problem is is that the pages are almost two years old and now my right hand style doesn't match it all too good anymore.
So..I am actually thinking about redrawing it, but this time I might eve consider scetching it with my left hand, because honestly?
I MUCH prefer that left hand style over the original comics style.

But I still have two jobs, AND my problem with my hands (at least my right hand, my left hand is better than ever!) so that won't happen anytime soon.

Anyway, if you read all this it would be nice to have your opinion on which style you prefer!

The left gives a bit more of a warm feeling, whereas the right one is bright and colorful as ever! I favor the right one more over the left one, but both are definitely great. :'D

I do have to say I prefer the one on the right, but the fact that you can draw with both hands AND that you have different styles for each hand is... I don't know the word for it so I'm just going to use "amazing". Hahaha. So original. Oh well. <3

I like both styles, but they each have a different feel to them. Now, I've never read your comic so I don't know which one would be more suited to it, but the right style seems to be super cutesy while the left appears kind of nostalgic/child-like. I think the left is probably better for a comic, but the right looks like it would be an amazing style for a cartoon show.

I like both and it makes for a fun art piece, but its also kind of interesting the right hand verses the left hand. In a way the right hand one is more fanciful while the left is kinda of (not really) more realistic and kind of toned down in a way. Like they're both two halves of a whole o3o I hope I made a little bit of sense XD

Do you really feel there's such a drastic style change just because of the hand switch? I think you could do with your left hand what you did with your right (and vice versa), just the linework wouldn't be exactly the same...

Anyway, GREAT JOB. You're inspiring us awful artists to do completely innecessary things like trying to become ambidextrous. Yes, I'm a sucker. OTL

actually they are not that far of, and I can copy the styles with each hand if I would want to, only problem is that it somehow feels...wrong. I don't really know why, but at least I like each hand having it's own style!
