this would work really well as a cover to a comic..... how'd you design the gun, did you use any reference? Whats your process on drawing something like that?

I remember there were a lot of erasures with the guns. Not because of errors but rather, couldn't make up my mind, there are so many ways I wished to draw them. References from sci-fi first-person-shooter games like Doom, Unreal or Halo.
Usually takes days before any idea is finalized. (during that time a lot of scribbling on scratch papers for the look of the layout and not on the look of the characters themselves.) In fact, none of the drawings here are drawn right up immediately from initial thought.
This piece was done in 2 days including colors. (the background took another day) Nothing different in terms of process, just pencils and Photoshop CS2.
