When all of my other friends wanted ponies and wolves as pets, I wanted a snail. I was fascinated with the little buggers and was always sad when my mom had to squish them (she kept a garden).
To this day, they are still some of my favorite animals, and this pic brought back good old memories.

I used to collect snails in our backyard on rainy days and try to keep them. It may sound weird but these little things are quite good at escaping...
