Description
Oil on board. Small. This was a croquis of sorts, in a traditional glazing technique. We worked one painting 10 minutes at a time, adding one layer, then switched to the next. Last of the series, and probably the closest I've come yet to the "old masters" way of painting.

I like this one the best probably, because of the colors and lighting. The shoulders and chest area seem a little non-natural to me, slightly too round. Absolutely beautiful strokes, though.

Thanks again. We were painting all six at a time, so there wasn't more than 10 minutes to spend on one painting at a time.

This is a good painting. I really like the way you've captured the light. I think it's interesting how you blur out the faces as well.

Thanks a lot I just blur them, since the paintings are quite small, and there wasn't that much time for small detail, before switching over to next pose and painting. Glad you like it.
