"Are you going to help me out or not?" The orange seapony huffed at the young stallion who found her. Tangled in the fishnet, she struggled to get free.The stallion stood there in shock, not believing his eyes - there was a real, breathing and talking seapony right in front of him. Dazed, Pipsqueak untangled her from the net. He couldn't believe that the legends of seaponies were true, and his mind could hardly comprehend what was happening.
But he knew that the beauty before him was true, not a hallucination from a sunstroke."
Edit: Some of you are getting confused. The seapony IS Scootaloo, I just changed her from a pegasus to seapony for the purpose of this picture.
I wanted to draw the next panel of Citizens and Soldier but had a sudden urge to draw my OTP - Scootaloo and Pipsqueak.
Wanted to make it summary so now Pip's a pirate and Scoot's a seapony/meremaid.
Took a couple of hours, hope you like!

What it most called my attention was the connection between the title, and the picture itself
I totally agree to call this piece original
I mean, a pirate pony could found anything, any kind of treasure like gold, swords, or something as usual as that, it could still be good but in this case what I most admire is the originality of the fact of catching a seapony

The drawing style and the colors are pretty good too
The cutie mark... its not bad, but now I think of it, it could be better, but its OK

I gotta say I like this piece of art work but it has its flaws
1. Half of scootaloos tail is sticking out the the fishing net, she could easily flick her tail up and get untangled
2. Her ear should be sticking out of one of the holes in the fishing net, itβll look likes sheβs actually caught instead of just lying under there
3. Some of the fishing line should be caught under he scales and tangled around her tail and hooves, and maybe make her expression more angry or irritated.
