If you didn't observe clearly, there's a three tone shadow and this sweaty fellow is bending his head slightly down while looking at the camera man... That's why only parts of the neck is not completely covered in shadows.. See? Observe carefully, my friend...

Oh ok. The shadow on the neck... but the light comes from the top of the guys head. shouldn't it cover the whole neck underneath?
