Description Hope you don't mind eic i did a quick scketch of your work. did a little visual. So too start these are only my opinions as an artist, lol i'm not going to profess too know what i'm talking about. "that's my disclaimer."

alrighty! so #1: It's the very first thing that bothered me. i've never seen any mointain that has a peak that sharp, so if you round it off a bit it would be dandy.

#2: The forground is very nice. However it does need alittle interest. maybe alittle more like on the mound or something.

#3 & 4: the waterfall openings are uninteresting, they are perfectly cut out of the mountain. It would have some stalagmites and or stalactites from the minerals in the water vapor and the water vapor it'self.

#5 the waterfall is hitting a shelf yes? I can't tell if there is like a ledge there that the water is cascading down. If there isn't, there should be some rocks there and evidence that it is actually hitting the mountain side. Since the water can't fall straight down the mountain. so you would have to add shelves. Back to the right waterfall the water would ark from the flow but it should have somewhat of a down drop so you can tell the difference between each shelf. You could also add some interest and detail by having the main waterfall chang directions as it hits each shelf going down. That is what #6 & 7 & 8 point out.

A few other things. If it is really cloudy which is what it looks like, it would be kinda cool too have some faint rays of light breaking through. A shadow for the dragon would be a good idea as well, by that i mean to have him create a shadow area in the air underhim. increase the light on his back as well, would make good contrast.

The little arrows was just me building a triangle, where three points of interest would connect the forground, midground, and subject.

So that's my short bid at this. Sorry I took so long. Well now that all is said. I do like the picture and it is fine the way it is. Could be better, but then so can everything.

If you don't mind my critiqueing, feel free to ask me, i'm always happy to try and help.

Woah.... this is the most awesome critique I have ever received! I have never received anything so constructive during my time here, and the image helps! I'll have to save this to know what to do and what not to do in my future image, because right now I am doing another landscape-esque image. It will take some time but I hope to improve with all the help I get. ^^ The new image will look better thanks to this.

Thank you so much for the input! This is really going to help!
