Well, if you think of it, it is only colors, nothing more
As for the watercolor pencils, in this drawing I didn't use water, but only the pencils, but they are more smooth than the regular
Btw, later today I am going to re-upload "Liv" because I realized that the pic is too yellowish and the contrast is awful! I hate my laptop screen.....

don't worry about the yellowishness, scanners always tend to screw things up (for me at least) and it looks great too. Oh that's a good idea, use the pencils for the texture instead of the special effect 
I bought some cheapo ones a while back just to see what they do and I guess I did something wrong because I tried drawing with them (and they came out waxy and light and ew) and then painting over it with a very tiny bit of water and it just made my sketchbook paper rip and peel
