Being a huge fan of both Mortal Kombat and SPAWN led me to illustrating the titular character!!! Also, took huge inspiration from many works by the legendary Dave Rapoza! What a beast of an artist!!!

By the way, in case y'all notice that Spawn looks rather skinny here, that's intentional. Wanted to capture a tortured and emaciated feel for the character!

Jason Shawn Alexander's illustrations of Spawn come into my mind as another source of inspiration for this piece. Hope y'all will dig my interpretation of Todd McFarlane's SPAWN!
