This is quite nice! I have a lot of comments, so I'll break this up into parts.
- Background/Coloration: I like the heavy emphasis on blue. It contrasts well with the red and yellow of the new pooltoy dragon. The simplicity of the background helps to avoid drawing focus away from the rest, yet it's not so simple as to be boring. A nice balance, there.
- Curus: The pose looks very playful, which is an important aspect. The stitching on the nose is a nice touch, though in the future, I'd recommend a bit more stitching in various places. The body shape looks quite good for the most part, though I will admit that his left arm does look a touch off. Specifically, it doesn't quite seem that the shoulder match up to where it should be. It isn't very noticeable, though, and overall the design is quite nice.
- Curus Shading: The shading on Curus is very nice! I like how different parts of the body cast shadows on each-other, as well. It also seems like you're keeping in mind, more, a single-directional light source.
- Riot: The pose looks rather dynamic. Combined with the expression, it really does create the impression that you are struggling and alarmed at what is going on. I also feel that you made a good choice on what parts of the body are transformed and what has yet to be transformed.
- Riot Shading: This is really the star of the show - and given how good the rest is, that's saying something. Though there is one negative I do need to get out of the way first. The non-pooltoy parts, it seems you forgot to add shading to. That said, it's really not very noticeable, especially due to how incredible the shading is on the pooltoy part of the body. I especially like the shines, and that's an important part to emphasize the pooltoy-ness. Your previous work of Curus transforming into a pooltoy was good, but comparing that to this, it's a testament to just how much you have improved in your craft.
