During a conversation here on deviantart about underarm hair on girls, I received a few requests to post photos of my own, so heres you go!I stopped shaving my underarms about 2 years ago when my skin became increasingly sensitive to the razor (electric or not) shaving under my arms became a very long and painful process- during and for weeks afterwards. So I stopped shaving and I feel so much more comfortable- and its really quite grown on me (no pun intended).
And contrary to popular belief, furry underarms do not make you stink. I don't smell any different now then when I used to shave- as long as you are a clean person, use deodorant, etc (which I am, and do), then you shouldn't have any problems.
I just wish this was something that was more acceptable.

When I was younger I also thought I didn't like girls with armpit hair, but I've grown to find it very attractive on a female. Don't make the ignorant and intolerant masses fool you. If more women had hairy armpits, it would automatically become more accepted. By the way, you are very courageous for doing this in the summer.

Love your hair! That is both a comment and a command! lol. I don't have any hair-friendly friends...I'm the only one of my kind in my immediate circles, but I am defiant in my acceptance of the majority of my own body hair. It's there. It apparently wants to be, because shaving makes my skin ANGERS. So yay to you, and yay to you for making me feel better about me. Haha. Ego! <3

It's all about how you take care of yourself.
A girl *will* tend to smell a bit more (like my Ex who I miss so much ; ; ) if she has hair there, but so long as you keep yourself clean it won't be an unpleasant one. The reason girls have hair there in the 1st place is to trap their pheromones to attract mates (I know this first hand ^^ rawr) and if the girl is clean, the natural scent is actually unbelievably stimulating (like instant hard on)
It's something guys just have to (and in today's society likely won't) experience for themselves.

I think you look beautiful. Maybe I'm weird but I've been starting to think of hairy underarms as being sexy. I think it's the "naughtiness" of it (since it's so frowned upon now). People who think shaving equals hygienic are fools. Hygiene is washing.
