“I'm actually kind of surprised that this game has gone on as long as it has. I expected that it would have ended a few turns ago.” With an unreadable expression, Lelouch stepped in front of the group and lifted the backpack from its place on the floor. “Still, since there are still people here, and no one's come to stop us yet, I suppose we should continue.” Though it was growing more difficult for him by the minute, he was still trying to maintain his cheerful, friendly front. Without giving it any thought at all, he walked up to where you were seated and handed you the backpack. “Good luck.”

“Thank you, but I don't think I'm going to need it.” Confident that this game was going to be no problem at all, you placed your hand into the messy assortment of items and pulled out a large, ruby ring. “Wow, is this thing actually the real deal? It looks real to me, but I don't really know that much about this kind of thing.”

“It's real. Why wouldn't it be?” Leaving his seat behind, Gino made his way over to you with a friendly smile resting on his lips. Once close enough, he reclaimed the ring and stuffed it in his pocket. “I don't wear costume jewelry you know.”

“Right, right. Of course not.” Quickly dismissing the subject, you grabbed onto Gino's hand and tugged him into the closet. As Lelouch shut the door from the outside, you pulled your partner to the floor and sat down as close to him as you could without actually sitting on top of him. Excited to get things started, you rubbed your hands together and started to grin. “So, what to do first?”

Gino raised a single finger in the air, stopping you before you had a chance to start “Actually, I have a question before we do anything. I know this is probably a stupid question, but what is the purpose of this game again? I understand how to play it, but what are we supposed to be accomplishing exactly? Also, what does it have to do with school?” As he lowered his hand back down to his lap, you noticed the tips of his ears fill with colour. “I admit that I'm not the most learned person when it comes to this sort of thing, but this just doesn't make any sense at all to me.”

His question was understandable, but to you, the answer should have been obvious. “I'm guessing you weren't here when we first started things. This has nothing at all to do with school. We're just calling it a social experiment so we don't get into trouble.” Snuggling yourself a bit closer, you widened your smile and hoped that your explanation would be enough to stop future interruptions. “The whole point of this game is just to have some fun.”

“Oh, I understand.” Now knowing the truth behind this game, Gino's blush spread from his ears, to the rest of his face. “That explains why nothing was making sense to me.” Despite his embarrassment, he smiled thankfully. “Thanks you for explaining.”

“Yup. And now that you're up to speed, we can finally get things started.” Racing against the clock, you wiggled your way onto his lap and wrapped an arm around his shoulders. “You sure are blushing an awful lot right now. You're not going to leave me hanging here like this, are you?”

“No, of course not. I would never do that. At least I wouldn't do it on purpose anyway.” Though Gino was still smiling, his brows furrowed together, giving him a concerned look. “But, I'm not sure what to do. Actually, the real problem is that I'm not sure how to do what I'm supposed to be doing.”

Having expected as much, you shrugged. “Don't worry about that. I'll lead the way, you just follow along.” Wiggling your brows in a feigned attempt to be seductive, you pulled him closer and kissed him square on the lips. You hadn't been at all nervous or awkward before this, but for some reason, you could feel yourself starting to blush.

Sensing your sudden and rather drastic, emotional change, Gino brought the kiss to an end and looked down at you. “It looks like you might have caught my blush.” He chuckled. “I'm sorry, I didn't know it was so contagious. I guess since it's my fault you caught, the blush, it's only right that I lead for a while. At least until the blush cycles back to me.” With that, he gently pressed his hand to your cheek and once again, started to kiss you.

A short while later, your time together had run out. Lelouch opened the door to end your turn, but upon seeing the two of you in the midst of a kiss, decided to simply leave the door ajar and hope that one of you would notice.
