“Now that everyone knows exactly why I brought you here, we can finally start.” Looking over the crowd from behind his dark lenses, Izumo sought out someone to be the very first player. After a moment, he walked up to you and offered a hand. “I think you'll do nicely. Follow me.” Taking your hand in his, Izumo helped you to your feet and led you to the center of the room where the box of items was waiting. “Good luck.”

“Thanks, but I don't think I'll need it. I've already got this whole game figured out.” So excited you were almost giggling, you dug into the box at once. Seconds later, you had chosen a dark blue beanie as your item. “I think we all know who this belongs to.” Your eyes went straight to Yata. “Well, are you coming or am I going to have to drag you?”

“I never even agreed to play this stupid game.” Crossing his arms over his chest, Yata lifted his nose into the air and let out an annoyed snort. “Just give me my hat.”

“You agreed to play as soon as you put this in the box. You can have it back after the game's over.” Not about to let him get away, you grabbed him by the wrist and started pulling him towards the closet. “Now come on.”

Blushing feverishly, Yata started to flail. “H-hey stop it. I don't have to play if I don't want to.”

“That's where you're wrong, I'm afraid.” Coming to your aid, Izumo gave Yata a gentle push into the closet and quickly shut the door, trapping him inside with you. “Have fun you two.”

The instant the door was shut and locked, Yata had started banging on it with both fists. “Let me out of here! This isn't funny. I'm going to kill all of you.”

“Calm down Yata. I'm sure you'll have some fun in here with me. I'm not that bad.” You gave his shoulder a gentle pat, hoping he would just relax. You honestly weren't sure why he was so against this game in the first place. “Besides, it could be worse. What if you had gotten paired with Fushimi or something?”

Your words seemed to calm him down, but only slightly and only for a couple of seconds. “If I was in here with Fushimi, I'd just punch that stupid monkey.” He snorted again. “That would be a lot easier than this.”

“So you're just acting like this because you're embarrassed?” After realizing this, his bad attitude made a lot more sense. Still, that didn't excuse the way he was acting. Him being embarrassed didn't mean you were going to take it easy on him either. “Now that you mention it, you are still blushing really bad.” Taking a step towards him, you placed the palm of your hand on his cheek. “You're all hot. Poor thing.”

Quickly jerking away from you, Yata backed himself against the wall in a desperate attempt for some personal space. “H-hey, don't touch my face. Actually, just don't touch me at all.”

Completely ignoring Yata's commands, you stepped towards him once more. Having successfully trapped him, you pressed his cheeks together with your hands and continued to torment him. “Aw, you're so cute. Look how red you are.”

“I'm not cute, and I can't see how red I am so cut it out already.” Yata tried desperately to shove you away, but no matter how many times he shooed you, you wouldn't listen.

“I'll leave you alone, but only after I've gotten my kiss.” Even though you doubted he'd give in that easily, you leaned in close. “Pucker up.”

Yata turned his head to the side, still trying to avoid you. “No way that's happening.”

“Then I'm not going to leave you alone.” True to your word, you did the exact opposite of what he'd been asking. You loosely wrapped your arms around his shoulders and began nuzzling at him. “The sooner you give up, the sooner you'll be rid of me.”

With nowhere to run, and no way to escape you, Yata had little choice but to give in. “Fine. Just get it over with.”

“I knew you'd see things my way if I was patient.” After letting out a quick, easy cackle, you grabbed his face once more and roughly pressed your lips to his. This kiss wasn't very long at all, but it was more than enough to leave Yata wide-eyed and speechless. “Wow, I didn't know it was possible for someone to blush this bad.”

Still barely able to speak, Yata looked away from you and scoffed. “Shut up.” Before the words had left his lips, Izumo opened the door. Finally having a way out, Yata didn't wait for the turn to be officially over before leaving the closet. He had pushed past you and rushed out before you even had a chance to blink. Still terribly flushed, he looked back at you and glared one last time before leaving the building. “If you ever touch me again, you're dead!”

“Considering your partner was Yata, I think that went pretty well.” Smiling softly, Izumo gave your shoulder a reassuring pat before returning to the game. “Now, who's next?”
