Just enough light to keep you from sleeping filled your bedroom. You probably could have thrown a pillow over your head and willed yourself back to sleep if someone wasn't sitting on your bed, causing it to move and creak slightly. “Whoever's in here, leave. It's too early and I am not getting up until noon today.”

“Noon? Man, you're lazy aren't you?” Your bed shook even more as Gray flopped onto your bed. “It sucks, but I guess I'll just lay here until you get up.”

You moaned at his persistence. “What the heck is so important? Do you even know what time I got back from my mission last night? It was late, really late. I could barely even stay awake in the shower.” Still hoping he would leave you alone, you pulled your covers up over your head and rolled over, wrapping yourself up in a blanket cocoon.

Gray snorted as he crawled closer to you. “You're going to have to get used to not sleeping. I can't remember the last time I slept more than a catnap.” Now almost on top of you, he moved the blankets away from your face and smiled a wide, sarcastic smile. “Now why don't you get up. I want to take you to breakfast.”

“No, let me sleep till noon and I'll think about letting you take me to lunch.” You rolled over again, this time, resting on your stomach and burying your face in your pillows. “And put a stinking shirt on, I don't want to wake up and see that again.”

“Man, you're evil in the mornings, I'll have to remember that.” Since you wouldn't get up, Gray laid back down next to you and placed his hands under his head. “Just let me know when you finally decide to get out of bed.”

“Fine.” With your face down in the soft coolness of your fluffy, white pillows, your answer was more of a mumbled groan than an intelligible answer.

“I'll take that as a yes.” Tired from his own mission, Gray stared at the ceiling. It didn't take long before his eyelids began to droop and he felt himself becoming one with your bed. “Yeah, maybe I should take a little nap too. Can't hurt anything.” His eyes were already shut as he finished his sentence. In a matter of seconds, he was fast asleep and drooling next to you.

Hours passed, though your sleep was so deep it only seemed like moments. You opened your eyes to see Gray, sleeping soundly and staining your blankets with a pool of drool. “I'm going to kill that moron.” Sitting up, you grabbed a pillow and held it over your head. “Wakey wakey Gray!”

“Is it noon already?” Gray slowly opened his eyes and immediately flinched at the sight of you ready to smash his face in with a pillow. “Hey, wait a second, I'm unarmed!” He scrambled to get his own pillow, but was far too slow. You were already hitting him over the head, full force with your feather pillow. “Stop it, that actually kind of hurts.”

“My feather pillow hurts you?” You raised an eyebrow and sighed at him with disappointment. “That's just sad Gray. I expected you to be so much tougher.” Smirking, you readied to hit him again. “Guess I'll have to toughen you up.”

“I don't think so.” Before you could blink, he hit the side of your head, making you dizzy for a split second. “Not so tough now are you?”

“Please, my grandma hit's me harder than that. You should be ashamed to call yourself a mage.” Your taunts and insults quickly escalated the pillow fight into a near death match. Both of you were now standing on the bed, a pillow in each hand, socking the other person as hard as you could. A lamp had already fallen to the floor, and possibly broken, but neither of you cared enough to stop. “What's the matter Gray, getting tired already?”

“Shut your mouth before I stuff your pillow in it. You're the one that's huffing and puffing like you're going to die, not me.” Gray gave you a crooked smile. “You're just picking on me because you're too tired to keep fighting, don't lie.”

He was actually right. Being sore, and still tired from your mission, you didn't have near as much stamina as you usually did. If he gave up right now you really wouldn't be upset. “Don't flatter yourself Gray. I could keep this going all day.”

“All day huh? Then I guess I better stop taking it easy on you.” He let out a loud laugh and whacked you multiple times in quick succession. As you tried to evade his attacks, you lost your footing and began falling to the floor below. Hoping to slow, or stop your fall, you grabbed onto Grays necklace. Instead of cushioning your fall, you wound up on the ground with Gray on top of you.

Once the dizziness from the fall, and hitting your head had faded, you let out a moan and rubbed the growing lump on the back of your head.“Dang it Gray, why'd you have to play so rough? I think, I think I cracked my head open.”

Gray looked down at you sheepishly and let out a weak chuckle. “Sorry about that, I guess I got a little too carried away.”

“Nah, I deserved it. I was egging you on after all.” With the pain in your head already dulling, you found it impossible to be angry with him. Especially with the adorable, worried expression he had on his face. “Good fight though, you won fair and square.” You winked. “I guess you're not as weak as I thought you were.”

“I guess not.” His worried expression disappeared and was replaced by a grin so wide he had to close his eyes. “Hey, I have a question for you. Since I won, fair and square, does that mean I get a prize of some sort or something like that?”

Gray seemed a little overly nervous for asking such a simple question. Figuring he was still trying to get you to go to lunch, you nodded. “Yeah, I guess a prize or something is appropriate. Even if you did give me a concussion.”

“So let me get this straight. You're saying I can have any prize I want? Anything at all?” Gray lowered his face to yours, smirking wickedly and hovering only inches away from you.

“Well, I didn't say that exactly.” The strange look he was giving you almost made you want to recant your words. “Why do I feel like I'm going to regret saying yes?

“Too late now.” Not about to let you change your mind, Gray dropped down the last few inches and kissed you roughly on the mouth. Used to being the perverted one, this was a new experience for you. Your face turned every shade of pink and red and your eyes were stuck wide open. Moving his mouth to just below your ear, Gray kissed you again and chuckled. “What's the matter? You aren't being a sore loser are you?”

You placed both of your hands on his bare chest and gave a weak attempt at pushing him away. “No, not at all. I was just expecting to go out for lunch, not this.” Though you were trying hard to appear calm and undeterred by his actions, Gray was able to see right through your act.

“It's a little late for lunch now, but I guess I can take you to dinner.” He grabbed your hands and kissed your palms. “But first, I'd like to finish accepting my prize.”
