my favorite plant by far,gelsemium is posinous and it affects the spine, it acts as a depressant and in large enough numbers causes death by stopping the respartory system or the lungs from working. it can also cause paralysis and problems with the muscles.
one of characters is names after this plant and carries droplets of the refined poison in small glass droplets held by to her ear by silver hoops.
