I saw in a past response in the comments that you didn't use any latex to do this.
I have been getting into doing more make-up like this and was wondering if you could give more detail as to how it was done or maybe if you know of a website or a place to get some further information?

I can't send you any link about how make this version of the make up, because this make up is all my creation. I did it on the fly.
I used glue false eyelashes. With the glue I did two lines so near one of the other to make the shape of the smile. Before it dried, I glued pieces of paper to make “the meat up”. Being careful to leave the edges firmly attached to my own skin. I waited for it to dry and I started with the base/correctors, shading ... etc. I cut pieces of yarn, and I tried to make a kind of stitching.
And finally I added blood.
That’s all, I think, any question?

So the false eyelash glue is holding on paper that gives it the I don't know how to word it.. 3-D effect? Or the cut, I guess?

Yes, the effect of the cut is for the paper. The glue is just for add the paper with the skin.

With simple things I had at home.
To make the wound I used glue false eyelashes and paper (paper like you used in the kitchen). And the rest are eye shadows, false blood (Homemade xD) and sewing thread. ^^
I think that was all hehehehe
Ideally for this type of injury is to use latex, but I haven't, so I improvised.
We can also do more wounds or false (inserts, I don't know how to explain it in English xD) with things we have at home, like plasticine.

Oh muchas gracias *-*
