Ferru was originally a Buttercup rabbit but was captured by Bogweed and tortured for information. It's been a while since then (a little over a year) and he usually spends his days laying in the muddy prison grounds with no hope of rescue. This outlook changed when the Buttercup rabbits showed up in Bogweed's territory to try and rescue their chief rabbit Campion. Ferru, along with others, were unable to escape with them, but now he does hold on to a small glimmer of hope that one day he will be rescued.
