Description
This is a photograph of the University of Arkansas's huge fairly new Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Football Stadium. Everytime I go to a game I am just overwhelmed by the number of fans and how packed the stadium is every single game. This huge stadium can hold up to 72,000 people and every game it looks like the stadium is at its full capacity. I love the Hogs spirit.Related content

Hi Casey. Nice to meet you, too.
Yeah, Razorback games are definitely a great experience. Haha, of course I saw you over there. Only one in red! People were getting to that game four hours early? Wow. Our seats were on the opposite side from you on the far right, upper-deck. We didn't think we'd be able to see anything from up there, but they were actually really good seats. You could see everything and you were elevated so you could see everything that was going on. I liked watching the student section. They seem fun- or y'all, rather. And yes, hopefully I'll get some pictures next year- assuming I get to go to a game. And that's alot of people showing up to see Arkansas play a Division-II school. But no, I don't go to the University; I'm a freshman at Texarkana College. But that's cool that you and your sister go there! What are you majoring in?

Hi!! Glad you saw me at the game. People always get to the game four hours early. College people are crazy, espesially Razorback college students. I have several friends who go to the game 6 hrs early every single game so they can get in the very front rows of the student section. I know this year for several of the home games students slept outside in sleeping bags and tents the night before a game waiting to get in, which is just crazy to me. I mean I love the Hogs, but I wouldn't sleep outside waiting to get in. So you were up pretty high for the game? I've had to go to the upper-deck several times because the lower sections were already full, but no matter where you sit in that huge stadium you always seem to have decent seats. I guess that's the advantage to having such an enormous football stadium. Do you like Texarkana College? I've passed by there several times before. I used to live in Mt. Vernon. Do you know where that is? No one here knows what the heck I'm talking about when I tell them where I am from. My sister and I are undecided in our majors right now, but both of us are kinda thinking about Biology. We had a really fun Biology professor so we might try that, not really sure. What are you majoring in? Too bad you're not a U of A student. I could give you some of my tickets for the football games. This year I had tickets to all the home games (tickets only cost $4 for the students who get them since there is a limited supply), but I could only go to two because of school. Several of my tickets just went to waste. I was mad about that, but of course schools first. Hopefully I'll get to go to more next year. This may be an odd question, but do you like anime? Just wondering.

Haha, wow. Y'all definitely want to make sure that you're front row, huh? Yeah, it seems like you'd be able to see well from anywhere at that stadium. Texarkana College is okay. I'm not too big on college in general, but oh well. I do know where Mt. Vernon is! My cousins used to live there, actually, and I have family in Mt. Pleasant. Biology, eh? Y'all must be smart. I haven't decided on a major yet; but I'm thinking maybe photography or something. Who knows. I'd be happy to take some tickets off of your hands sometime! I've never gotten much into anime. I see that you're a big fan of it, though.

Wow someone actually knows where little Mt. Vernon is. Like I said before no one here knows what the heck I'm talking about. Mt. Vernon? What's that? That's cool you used to have family that lived there. What's there names? Maybe I know them. Sorry you don't sound like you like college right now. I didn't like my first semester too much either. It was such a huge change from everything I had done before, but it'll get better. Photography major huh? That sounds like a lot of fun!! I have a friend who's doing that here and he absolutely loves. It sounds like that would be a really fun major. Smart? Well I'm not stupid. My first semester grades weren't that great, but I'm shooting for all A's this semester. *keeps fingers crossed* Are you almost done for this semester? I'm done with going to classes all I have left are 3 finals, I already took 2 last week. 6 days till I'm officially done with this semester!! Yes!! I'm so excited. I got my results from the Biology final the other days and I scored a 94!! (not sure if you wanted to know that) I was so happy. The average was a C. Sorry for blabbing. I'd love to give you some of my football tickets, but unfortunately you have to be a student here to use them. I would glady give them to you, but you must show you student ID before you can get in the game. Do you like basketball? My dad bought my sister and I basketball tickets for all the home games and you don't have to be a student to use those. If we don't go to one I could send you them in the mail. That is if we don't go of course. There are only two tickets per game and the seats are pretty high, but hey they're tickets. Yeh I like anime a lot, as you have already guessed. Well talk to you later. I need to study for a Western Civ. final tomorrow.

Yep. It's a small town. Their names were Tara and Hillary Carnation. You probably went to high school with Tara, I'm assuming. Yeah, college is alot different. I was homeschooled from 3rd-12th grade, so it's definitely a change from all that. Oh, cool. I didn't know that Arkansas offered a photography major. Good luck on all A's. That would be quite an accomplishment. Yeah, I'm almost done; I have three classes next week and then I'm finished. Congratulations on the 94! That's awesome. And I pretty much figured that you'd have to be a student there to sit where you sit. Maybe someday!
How'd you do on the Western Civ. final?

Hey!! How are you doing? Sorry I didn't respond sooner. I had a lot going on with finals, coming home for the break between semesters, and going crazy with Christmas. How was your Christmas? Great I hope. Mine was just blah. It wasn't very fun except giving my mother and my sisters their gifts. Hopefully you had more fun than I did. That's so cool you're related to the Carnations. Tara graduated the year before my sister and I did. Small world huh? I didn't know Hillary, but I did know Tara. She was in track with my sister. That's just so cool to me that someone on DA likes the Razorbacks then I find out you're related to someone I know. I'm such a dork. Please forgive my stupidity. I looked up my grades and I was so mad because I missed getting all A's by one grade. That just makes me so mad because I know I made an 88 or 89 in that class. Oh well. You win some you loose some I guess. Thanks for congratulating me on my 94. How did your semester go if you don't mind me asking? I bet you did well to. Regarding how I did on the Western Civ. final I don't know, but I made an A in the class so it must not have been to bad. Oh, you were homeschooled. I bet that was a MAJOR change. Hopefully a good one though. I thought moving from a tiny highschool to the U of A would be a big difference, and it was but I truly enjoy it. Well I've rambled on enough. Hope you had an awesome Christmas and have an amazing New Year!!!

That's a great picture. Doesn't look like there's a seat left!
I finally got to go to a football game in Fayetteville this year. I had been to two previous ones (most recent was in Little Rock against LSU, where we won with around ten seconds left), but had never been to Razorback Stadium until this year. My dad, brother, and I went to see Arkansas play Southeast Missouri State and Ole Miss. Great games; great atmosphere.
I took my camera and put it in my backpack, but, I did not know this, backpacks aren't allowed in the stadium, so I had to walk back our truck and didn't get any shots of the crowd/stadium/game. Maybe next year.
Nice to see another Hog fan on deviantart. I'm assuming you go to the University?
I'm Jordan, by the way.

Cool another Hog fan!! GO HOGS!! Yes there's not a seat left in the whole stadium. I LOVE going to the football games it's way too much fun. The Hog games just have so much team spirit. I've never been to any other football games that even come close to the Hog fans' spirit. I went to the Southeast Missouri State game to. Cool we were both there. I was is the student section right above the tubas and the Razorback Band. I was wearing red did you see me? Hahaha. The whole stadium was flooded with red and man was it packed. I got to the Stadium 4 hours early to make sure I got a seat and I'm glad I got there when I did because not twenty minutes after I got to my seat students were already filled up to the highest seats. I think the newspaper said there around 74,600 people at that game and our stadium is only supposed to seat 72,000. That's so awesome. I'm sorry you didn't get to bring your camera in with you. That sucks. The first game I went to I brought an umbrella and they wouldn't let me take it in (we might block someones view) so I had to leave it outside and it got stolen. People stealing umbrellas. How sad. Hopefully you'll get to take lots of pictures next year. Are you a student at the University? My twin sister and I are. We LOVE it here. We're both sophmores. We went to high school in Texas (6hrs away) and we never go home. We like it here to much. I have a few other Hog pictures in my gallery if you want to look. I'm so glad you left me a comment. I'm happy to know there's another Hog fan on Deviantart. Oh almost forgot my name is Casey. Nice to meet you.

I LOVE this shot...I dont think I have ever seen so many people packed together like that...and the colours, the red of the crowd and the small patch of green works so well.
The angle of the shot is spot on in my opinion...I'd love to see one taken of the oval while the game is on.
Great shot Vamp!!!

Your comments make me so happy!! Thank you so much!!! I didn't think anyone would ever comment on this one. Yes that is a lot of people. The more people there the more fun!! Sadly I only got to go to 2 football games this year because school was so busy. The last game I went to had even more people. The stadium's capacity is 72,000, but at the last home game the newspaper said there were 74,600 people!!!! It was awesome!! I'll take your advice on the pic during the game. I may have one I'll just have to look. Thanks again for your super nice comment.
