so dont ask me how in my head my rainbow socks covered by my pants made me think of someone "being in the closet" and how just the socks made me think of being "out and proud"my brain is weird. i love my dsi. i can take pictures on it. then i can go and write on the picture.
and my favorite thing? it has a rainbow pen.
no im not flambouyant no not at all.
like makes you think. imagine all the people who are gay but live their lives as if they're not. i couldnt imagine doing that.

When I saw the picture of the socks covered in pants I immediately though, "In the closet"
It's what made me look at it while scanning your gallery.
I'm gay, but I live my life as if I'm not. I can't tell anyone in my family, and I can't be out in school because there is always a chance it could spread to one of my siblings.
Luckily, I have gay friends and straight friends who support me and at least let me have a few rainbow-filled conversations.
And DA, which is the only website I can be gay on, though I have to limit it since it's the internet.
It's kinda sad. My mother is so paranoid that I 'might be gay' [don't know how she came up with that] that I'm not even allowed to wear rainbows.
I saw a rainbow tee in the mall and had to fight her to let me buy it.

This is really quite true in a way. You have to cover up even the simplest things when your not out yet. I know that when certain people come over to my house, I have to take down my pride flag, and pride banners.

Hopefully you can come out soon! I know that it sure was a pain before because when ever I talked to my grand mother it was always "Do you have a girlfriend yet?", and mentally I was screaming, "I'M GAY!!!". Now my aunt told her, and I still have yet to hear from her to see what has happened. I'm very lucky in my circumstances to have supportive school administration, supportive friends, supportive family, and others. I hope you can have the same too some day!

lol oh no for the most part im out. like my aunts and uncle know as well as my grandma. in addition to my parents. i dont care if people know i mean i am who i am. but yeah people ask me if i have a boyfriend and im just like "...no" even though sometimes i'd like to say more i know when i can and when i cant. for the most part people are supportive thankfully. good luck with your grandma though i hope she's supportive.

Well, then it sounds like your a few steps ahead of me. Lol, nice to know things are good for you! There are many times that I also want to say a lot more, but like you, I know that there is a time and place for everything.
My mom seems to think that my grandmother is the least of my worries, but I can't see how the heck THAT works. Shes a devote catholic, and I haven't really determined if she's an extremist or not yet. Hopefully things will end well if they have to end, or that she will accept me. It's not like I EVER had a close relationship with her, so I can't really LOOSE anything. Ah well, the cards have been played, the bet has been taken, lets see what happens.

That's really stupid that they would go and talk about it. It's something for you to tell if you want, or to give someone else the power to tell about to who you specify. Not for them to randomly tell the whole world.

yeah especially because when i first told my mom she was like "let's just keep this between you me and dad for now" and then a little later she asked if she could tell my grandma and i was like "yeah i guess. i mean we're not telling people because YOU dont want to. im fine with telling people im not ashamed of it"

this summer my legs burnt so bad that i wanted to cry every time i walked and i like limped for like 3 days. i had that sunburn for a month at least
